Broseph Stinson did they find his body last I knew it wasn’t which makes me believe that maybe he is still alive under a new identity. Why he would do this I don’t know. Conspiracy theory yes. But just let me morn in my own way.
(Before this part) Morgana: If we mess up, Kamoshida could have a mental shutdown and die! Joker and Ryuji: We can't kill him, thats too much. (After this part) Joker, Ryuji, and Ann: *Your free trial of Lust has ended*
Etika's reaction is easily one of the most interesting standpoints on the whole situation. I feel like I would've reacted the same way in this sorta story.
I know I'd have probably been closer to what Ren/Akira reacted. As much as I'd want to fuck that son of a bitch up, I'd be well aware of the risks of letting my emotions get the better of me. I'd probably mad smug knowing damn well I'm going to fuck this man's whole life up without him even knowing.
Never noticed Skull's leg bouncing so much in the locker room until seeing the scene so many times back to back. That's a nice touch, really conveys the barely contained rage well. The fists doing it in the faculty office I saw because it's obvious and hard to miss, but interesting to see how it escalates as he gets more info and confronts directly
hes used to holding himself back, just like i do, but i honestly cry if im angry cause i keep on pushing myself down the "its my fault" toilet. but i don't really shake that much if im angry, i keep composure, only if i REALLY get upset i start to cry.
When I first played this, I got to this part, laughed manically, and said “oh, this is going to be so much fun.” Never before in a video game did the thought of taking someone down become more appealing than this.
Man, RIP Etika. He was such an amazing person, you can see how genuine his reactions are, he really does care about human life. Mental issues are no joke you guys, if you hear something or notice something off with someone, please speak up. This is a great example of how precious human life is, both the game and Etika.
I hate how real this scene feels, You are a teenager, powerless to this horrible teacher. No control over your situation, and no way to stop him from doing what he is doing except in the game you can but in reality they almost always get away...
he hurt one of my favourite NPC characters, his welfare was no longer on my conscience. also to Anthony, I won't sink to the level of wishing death on him. not when the alternative is worse
@@aaron75fy I think he's referring to the fact that even after handing himself over to the police, Kobayakawa was still trying to hire him despite the abuse being revealed to everyone
@@fierytigergaming8112 well at that point Kamoshida's crimes are at the forefront, yes wanting to cover up the abuse is reprehensible but he was doing that for fame. Kamoshithead was bringing harm for more base desires and is worse. however I stand by my position of not wishing death, on EITHER of them
12:20 Everything I wanted to say about Kamoshida has been said by Etika, so I thank him for this. I feel like after hearing what happened to him and knowing how I wanted to commit suicide myself at some points in life, it really makes me think how valuable someones life is and that they should value it a whole lot more then they should. Hearing him say that made me feel grateful that he did what he did on his channel. #RIPEtika
Kamoshida was a real dickbag rapist thug, I wanted to know the name of each and every parent who protected him. they're just as bad and just as guilty for Shiho being driven to suicide
Kamoshida is such a great villain. Every second he's on screen you just want to punch him more and more. Persona 5 really did a great job using him to invest the player in the story.
Great scenes working together to eradicate any lingering doubts that the change of heart is the only option left. I remain convinced that rating restrictions (yes, even an M rating has its limits) are the only reason they couldn't be more specific about exactly what Kamoshida did to Suzui, yet the clues are there since he was using her as a stand-in for Ann when she turned him down... and then we see the girls in the chamber where they're holding Ann.
watching etika's reaction suddenly made me realize that as much joker maybe really wanted to hit kamoshida as ryuji really did, but i think the reason why he stopped ryuji from doing so was because of his past. he was the one who had experienced exactly just how it feels to be ganged up by authorities even though it was not his fault, and he knows if ryuji hits kamoshida, it'll only become worse for them as kamoshida would have total proof for them to get expelled much sooner. he knew exactly what was going to happen, and i think it's less 'violence is not the answer' and more 'i've experienced this before and i know what will happen so i'm not going to let it happen to you'.
FFP hit the nail on the head. Kamoshida's shrine to Suzui in his palace had rose petals on the floor. After that I really could not have cared less if the sumbitch died.
When Mishima said about how Kamoshida was in a bad mood that day - I muttered "Yeah, because he didn't have access to his toy - so he needed a new one"
Can you imagine what happens to Mishima when he can't do what Kamoshida orders him to? Dude constantly looks like a truck hit him and his parents don't even notice or care.
*Before I pressed the video, prior to 10-seconds:* May I please have Etika, please. *10-Seconds later:* YES! You the man, BrandoDoesStuff! Woohoo! Rest in Peace, Etika. :'(
This scene was what made me think "NO WE GON BREAK THIS BITCH." WHen I learned what Kamoshida did, I knew, "This is what we're gonna do. We're going to stop evil people like this." =v= Gosh, this game was good.
You know, am I really the only one thinking and wish for Kurusu-kun to say to him; "I'd rather be expelled again than stay in the same place as you,you rotten bastard!" No? Just me? Okay....
This is the first time in the game where the player realises that the shadow version of a target is actually pretty close to how they are in real life. Before this Kamoshida was sleazy, but not the cackling scumbag from the Metaverse.
I don't get it, how could anyone not get that Mishima meant rape her...it's obvious he's not above it. It's all a power thing for him anyways. I mean look how he imagined Ann =/
Mishima: That hurts! Me: Uh, what does exactly? We've not done ANYTHING, we just want to ask some questions Mishima: Suzui... She got called out by Mr Kamoshida! Me: Of course she was, he's basically the most popular here and of course he'd use this to his advantage! Kamoshida: We just received a call from the hospital, Suzui's in a coma and her chances of recovery are slim... How would someone like that make a statement? There's no chance of her getting better, I hear... The poor girl Me: You're the reason she's in hospital in the first place, you can't pull the false pity card! *For what it's worth though, she could make a statement when she regains consciousness - I should know, I've been in a critical condition before* Kamoshida: Does this mean we need another lesson on "Self Defense"? Me: Quickly, punch his throat! Grab the bat!
I'm pretty sure the implication is Ryuji dragged Mishima, which would obviously hurt because he's regularly getting ths shit beat out of him by Kamoshida.
In my opinion they the only one who were thinking reasonably, Kamodouchbag has more power than them so he can report it to the police and get them arrested, I mean he can use his power as a teacher to his adventage so it's better not mess with him unless you wanna end up in jail.
Kamoshida should've been mid game or something. I like the other palaces (futaba being my favorite), but I feel like the story for the other palaces decreased in quality as the game continued.
@@jlee902 fr, with Kamoshida you felt the threat and pressure, but in Okumura's and Futaba's the deadline really didn't feel like anything dangerous to the mc (in Futaba's case the only thing in danger is their reputation against Medjet, and in Okumura's well... they lose it anyway, and the entire palace feel super rushed even in Royal
As great as this game is, it kinda bums me out that there are 2 scenes in this game where the dialogue is kinda confusing and players tend to miss crucial implied details. This first one is the scene right before Ryuji awakens, where kamoshida says “if the track team coach hadn’t opposed me I would have only had to break his star players leg” this bit of dialogue confirms that Kamoshida was the one who broke (or at least had someone else break) ryujis leg. A lot of players miss that detail because of the kind of confusing wording. The other scene is this one where the player confronts kamoshida. It’s HEAVILY implied that the reason Shiho tried to kill herself was because when she was called into kamoshida’s office, he sexually assaulted her, and possibly even r*ped her. He did this mostly because Ann was unwilling to accept his advances, so he targeted shiho instead. You can also find a shrine to Shiho in kamoshidas palace, which further confirms this. Idk, I feel like a lot of players miss the implications of what he did to her. I get that they need to keep this game somewhat tame (I think it’s only rated T), but yeah....I think that went over a lot of players’ heads. Ironically, a few peoples chats actually picked up on it even when they didn’t.
Hey Brando, one idea i had: Is there enough reactions to Morgana saying "Master" in Okumura's palace to make something out of it? or is there not enough?
First guy got so mad and he thought Kamoshida was only hitting her.😢😢😢😢 Edit: Just read his story.😢😢😢 Her attempting to kill herself must have really hit him hard. RIP.
One detail i didn't note the first time y play this part was how Ryuji inmediatly knows what Kamoshida did to Shiho (not talking about beat her up) and thats why he got so mad
To be honest I don't like Etika's reaction. It was way too much and way overboard. This is just fiction not reality. You should never let a game or something else control your thoughts and emotions. To be honest it just shows me that he can't tell the difference between fiction and reality. His reaction was beyond messed up.
Actually the persona series has a lot of related stuff depsite not being real. Sure it's all not reality but things like this do happen in the real world and that's the scariest part. It's not a matter of you shouldn't let your emotions get to you over a game. Considering there are people like that in the real world I can see why
