👏👏👏 Wow 12 games are really impressive! Although you lose points for procrastinating on giving us the update video😂lol. I've been bad and really only beaten Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown so far. Got a little frustrated with some of the platforming challenges so had to take some time off from the game for a bit. Inbetween game right now so either gonna be starting Sonic Superstars or Contra Operation Galuga. Looking forward to Part 2
AITSF is a game I could not get enough of. Truly could not put it down and thought about nothing else. It still hits me on so many emotional levels now and I find myself thinking about each of the people from it again and again. Iris is...a lot. She's such a FANTASTIC subversion of the heroine trope, but boy is that not always a good thing lol girl's got some quirks, for sure. Still have ZERO idea how literally any of the Somniums work 😅 but hey! I still loved the style and vibe of them. also: ma'am, your HAIR 😍it suits you soooo well.
Love seeing Planet Robobot on here. ❤ It’s not my favorite Kirby game. Forgotten Land and Return to Dream Land especially are overall better games IMO, but Planet Robobot trails very closely behind them both. Definitely S tier.
I really need to get to beating games (Harvestella and BG3, specifically), but the semester has made it tough. But something about Unicorn Overlord grabbed hold of me when it dropped. The only game I’ve beaten this year so far
Great list. Hope to play Harvestella this year! The games I beat this year are OPUS: Echo of Starsong, Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth, and Fire Emblem GBA. Almost done with FF7 Rebirth as well.

Omg I ended 2023 with Harvestella!!! I really liked it (I married Brakka cuz I’m a sucker for a tsundere) and I loved that you had a whole quest to learn more about the characters on an individual level. I definitely wish there was voice acting and that the interesting plot was presented in a more interesting way! After 50 hours I was done with it 😂 I was really blasting through those last dungeons and almost rage quit on the final boss hahaha
Ohhhh I LOVE Brakka too!! Voice Acting definitely would have brought it to the next level-I liked the little snippets we got from characters every so often, but I really wish we got a little more!
Okay, first off, *Harvestella hype*, it warms my heart to hear people loving that game...♥ And second of all, this is pretty dang impressive! Tons of variety in even just the first half of the full list. Mine is... not quite so varied, since, other than Rebirth, it's pretty much just been a Trails replay year so far (but I guess that IS like 6 or 7 games completed for me, which isn't too bad considering).
IT WAS JUST SO GOOD I CAN’T EVEN!! And thank you, friend!! Im scared that I hit my high part of the year and am gonna plateau from here in terms of playing games (especially as more releases come out), but I’m hopeful to keep on pushing😎

Wow I've beaten... 2. I'm getting closer to beating Baldur's Gate, but it's a HUGE game and I'm trying to do everything I can in a single playthrough 😂
Listen, I understand the Baldur’s Gate struggle-I started that game last fall and I’m still not done either😂 I had played enough by the end of 2023 to confidently claim it was my favorite game of the year, but there’s just soooo much to Act 3. I’m probably 10 or so hours away from the end😂😂

Just a question, when you say you've beaten a game. Is it usually just the main story or more? With mario platformers it takes me often longer than the average but only because I need to get all 3 level coins/stars. I don't want to miss out on a secret world 😅
For me, it’s usually main story! But I think it also depends on when I “feel” I’ve completed it, if that makes sense😅 I’m not a completionist overall, but for certain games (Wonder was almost one of them) I go waaaaaay harder to get as much stuff done as possible! So main story is the minimum for me, but sometimes I feel like I haven’t really completed a game if I haven’t done a bunch of bonus stuff!
