To answer your question the only book that doesn't come in the Skaventide box is the General's handbook. You get the Core book and the Spearhead: Fire and Jade book.
ya thats what i've seen so far. i just think GW should spell it out for people, because a lot of new products all at once can be confusing for newer players, or less educated consumers
lol i hope they all went bankrupt by now, i've noticed them selling the last few limited edition books, substantially over retail, while they are still in stock from GW for weeks. they must be sitting on lots of unsold LE stuff, and taking big losses. the LE bubble has popped, but this book is going to be popular, so it may be hard to get one! fingers crossed!
@WarHammerMan I noticed most SoB books are very popular, even the HC ones tend to sell out quick online. I really hope GW made more than enough, however the wording very limited doesn't bode well
It’s weird that they don’t seem to be including the Spearhead book in the box set, nor do they appear to be offering it as a separate purchase. You’re probably right that the Spearhead components from Skaventide will be showing up on eBay after release but you’d think that the book would be available someplace other than in the Skaventide box.
i think because they are releasing it for free as a digital download, they didnt want to manufacture extras to sell. they have made a ton of the skaventide boxes, so i dont think it would sell that well, as most people will buy skaventide, buy the parted out components, or just get it free. its actually a good move by GW from a business standpoint IMO
Really excited to get the spearhead. I am really interested in the price of it, seems like they would want a cheaper price. Also wondering about the rule book.
i think GW will be overcharging for the spearhead box. i suspect if you're after the rule book, and the spearhead box, the best bet is to either get skaventide, or pick them up from ebay, or someone splitting the box
GW hypetrain is so "backfireing", our playgroup went from 2 new armies and 3-5 Skaventide to 2 by prerelease and nothing else... Also Death icon is just a skull... Ofc your video is good, the weirdness of GW doesnt diminish the good content!
i suspect they will have a digital set of stats, but not sure they will actually receive a set of physical cards. you should be able to play them in the new edition, but eventually they will not get updates. from what i have read
@@WarHammerMan Not only that, but we'll have to wait a whole week before being able to download them. GW really hates us, don't they? 😅 Still, my plan is to use the Legends rules until they start to become dated, then transition over to proxying my Beasts as Slaves to Darkness.
