Paul, this is exceptional work. I usually never comment on videos, but after watching your Gloomhaven, Tzolkin, and now this rules/how to play video, I couldn’t help it. Thank you. And I’ll be recommending your videos to as many people as I can.
Wow, I am really impressed with this How to Play video; the instruction is clear, the pacing is great, and the visuals are actually quite helpful (and not just 'cool' [read: distracting] graphics). Absolutely amazing work guys, you must have put in a lot of time and love into this production. I will make sure to direct my friends to your channel.
Thanks for the comments. I put a ton of work into each video, spening a long time scripting it and then getting that script checked by people (some of whom dont know the game) to check for things like the pacing, delivery, etc. And when you say "guys" - its just little old me :)
Not played and do not own Galaxy trucker, great first video. The first of yours I've viewed, also listened to two of your podcasts this week for first time. Very informative and enjoyable, cheers.
Hi guys. I know im late to the party but thanks for the video. Just 2 quick questions: When picking tiles to build your ship. 1.) If you do not want the tile right now, can you put it aside on your board to use later? 2.) Can you place a tile anywhere on your board? Or does it have to attach to the existing pieces. For example you place a laser on the far right with nothing attached, and you build towards it later hoping to join it in the end (Sorry If you have covered this and I missed it) Anyway thanks in advance and I've subscribed. Keep up the good work.
Sorry, I must have missed this comment earlier... When you are first playing the game - for your very first game, with the basic rules, then no - you cannot keep any tiles to one side. However, see the next videos in the series - they cover the rules for that. And yeah, you have to connect to existing pieces. Thanks for the nice comments!
The Galaxy Trucker T-Shirts were a limited print run for a special CzechGaming event a few years ago. CGE dont have any plans to make any more, even though I keep telling them it would be a good idea :)
Impressive tutorial! Just one thing, you mentioned that one cell is enough to power ONE use of a DOUBLE cannon/engine. So how much does the use of a single cannon/engine cost?
