GAN 354 - Unboxing & First Impressions 

Lol nice detective work! I did my actual first turns but I screwed up an algorithm and got a weird lockup within like a second of starting lol. I wasn't prepared for how fast and loose it was. I decided to just re-do it so that it would look nicer and the turns could go on for at least few seconds before stopping :P

Thank you! I'm curious as to why black internals and the transparent magnet holes make it a no-buy for you? Besides looks, they don't have any effect on the cube.

The Slick Cuber just feels like something that would distract me while solving, sometimes even if the plastic is dirty I pay more attention to it than I should xD probably just me though, lots of other people may enjoy it

It's really strange - I also watched Dana Yi's video where she talks about being able to adjust the tensions by rotating between a few different numbers on the GES thing itself, but mine does not have that. Mine just has the standard G A N printed on each GES spring. Not sure if Dana got some special one or if I got some mistake. But for me, the GES just acts the same as the old GES. It definitely has a different design though, so it is newer. I'll have to wait and see what other people get.

I have watched her video showing how it has the numbers printed on the GES ect. ect. If the standard 354 doesn't come with that then that then I think it will upset a lot of people. The whole point of GESv3 was to simplify the tensioning process. Hopefully you can find a definitive answer somewhere!

I would say the SM. Even after setting up, the GAN 354 just feels a little too unstable for my liking and the plastic feels clackier which I don't like. It's not a bad cube though, the SM is still just really good.

LOGY arts 1. No, that's just not true. You can see that my left index finger is resting on the B face for both of them. 2. This wasn't my review, it was just an unboxing and first impression video. My review came out on Friday. 3. How can I be biased when they're both GAN cubes? Why would I be biased against and biased for the same brand of cube? 4. This was straight out of the box, before I set it up. The point I was making was that out of the box it's way too fast and I need to slow it down with tensions and lube. Now that I've set it up, it no longer overshoots like that.

1) 6.30 You're slightly moving your finger to the middle bit so the moving blocks are not affected by your finger 6.44 Oh You are definitely stopping it 6.55 Really? resting on the B face for gan 354m? 2) You say the point you were making was that out of the box without setting it's way too fast? As you see at 6.55 of this video you are not resting your left index finger on the B face for gan 354m, I can do the same with my gan sm (without resting my finger on the B face) it almost does a 180 turn, even I personally think my cube is not super fast. So it is not fair for 354m if you stop it for one cube and just let it go for another. 3) I did not mean that you do a biased review or something, I meant you are making a 'NOT TRUE' video (you call it 'unboxing&first impressions') So as an audience of this video AND your channel, I wanted to tell you that your impression that is telling over 2000 people is not really true. (or trustworthy) 4) Also 'biased' does not have to be different brand. As I said for the Third one, I did not meant that you're doing a biased review as in "Oh the new gts3m is amazing but gan 354m is rubbish for me" , it's just (...) you're telling people false information, that gan 354m overshoots like that much compared to gan sm with the same strength, because where your finger rests is not the same for both of them. Hopefully, you'll understand what I am trying to say here. Apologies for my bad english tho.
