One of the most famous (and also strangest!) dishes of Northern Thailand is "Gaeng Ho," which is sometimes translated into English as 'Leftover Curry.' A name that doesn't really do this dish any justice, as this is one of THE tastiest curries you'll have anywhere (in Thailand, or in the world!) - this is one of my favorites and this is one of my favorite ways to have it!
Thank you for letting me share more about this dish (and yes! A LOVE STORY) with you today.
CONGRATULATIONS to my friends James and JJ, congratulations on your marriage, and I hope you smile at the small comparison I am making to this crazy and cool Thai food. Li and I had a lot of fun making this video today, thank you for letting me share a few memories and stories along the way.
I hope that "Gaeng Ho" might be making its way onto a Thai food menu near you very soon, but if not, and if you want to even make the dish yourself, check out this great recipe from Chef Pai, at Hot Thai Kitchen, hot-thai-kitchen.com/gaeng-ho/
So, why is called Leftover Curry? Well, enjoy the video, and cheers to Northern Thailand.
Have a great day! See you for more "GAENGS OF CHIANG MAI Curry Series" videos very soon!
