When Ryan just admits defeat instead of trying to BS his way thru an answer was hilarious and a nice change of pace from the usual "oh you stumped me, now I'll dance around it"
I really love how they all really love his questions and how they want Jake to keep asking questions in the end. Jake is by far my favorite interviewer. :)
Sharing an inside joke with Brolin, stumping Gosling, having Stone remember you out of the THOUSANDS of interviews she does, having Patrick, Mackie, and Ribisi beg you to do more questions... Jake you are PERFECTION! I literally let out a small squeal when I saw this in my subscriptions because I knew how awesome it would be!
This is why I enjoy Jake's interviews, he always has brilliant, relevant questions. There are few interviewers that have that ability, some are so annoying and stupid. Jake always has the best interviews, and he's funny.
Okay this is the best interview you've done. Also I'm biased because I've been waiting for this movie since last April! And I'm glad you mentioned the movie release date being moved and Josh had a good answer for that question. Jake you're just awesome at your job and everyone knows it! :)
I feel like Jake asks questions we actually care for and at the same time doesn't bore the actors. I'd probably ask the same ones if I were Jake. Thanks man!
Even when an actor asks you a question back. That'd be a huge compliment as well. When Gosling asks the interviewer what villain he'd want to play - i would've shit my pants if I were him.
What's wrong with liking what you do, caring about it and trying to be great at it. If you watch most of his vids, the ppl he interviews are always complementary of him and seem to enjoy speaking with him. And I for one enjoy that he tries to come up with interesting things to talk about. It shakes things up and makes the actor and the viewer think harder. He's very entertaining in his demeanor. Sorry if this sounds like a rant.
i remember just a year or two ago people were moaning about how the new breed of male actors didn't stand out, and we'd never have another Johnny/Brad/Leo/George and they were talking about how Channing might make it. Well, hello Ryan Gosling. His career reminds me of Brad Pitt's in many ways.
