Yes, this one has all parts I could find. Listen to the every song currently uploaded in this playlist: • The Legend of Zelda: T... Thanks for watching!!
I don't know if anyone is interested, but I'll be uploading the OST from the Pikmin 4 demo as soon as it launches and I can get my hands on it. I'll try to do it as well when Pikmin 4 actually releases.
mind fixing this track? you forgot to include BGM_Ganondorf_Miasma_Demo you only have BGM_Ganondorf_Miasma_Demo_Latter, and also, you should let each of them run for their full 32 beats, not just 16 beats - it throws the entire rhythm off when you do that. thanks
Everybody gangsta until Daddy Dorf Flurry Rushes their dumb ass. On a real note, tho, Ganondorf's fight felt more like a Dark Link fight than a Ganondorf fight. Still super fun and all, but he's just a better version of us, using our moves and weapons. 🤔
This game has the most “authentic” feeling ganondorf, I can’t describe it but seeing him in this game makes you exactly as scared of him as everyone in Hyrule is. I was TERRIFIED of doing this fight because for the first time, I understood why I should be afraid. The micro expressions and acted movements in the cutscenes, the voice acting, all of it does such a fantastic job making him a goddamn PRESENCE.
@@loganclark555 Actually listening back, I do REALLY like the calamity ganon theme. Maybe it was just because the fight in botw was a little underwhelming.
When Ganondorf flurry rushed my flurry rush, I literally yelled out loud. Then, when that health bar just. Didn’t. Stop. My jaw was on the floor. This fight was a great finale to the game and I couldn’t have asked for anything better. This is the greatest game of all time.
If you're into clever use of game mechanics to express feelings and stories like that, you really should check out Undertale. It goes so hard on this, and a huge part of its story is told just through its mechanics. Almost feels like TotK took some inspiration fro it.
I wish I could agree with you but I can’t even get past the floating island place. The intro is such a slogfest and I’ve given up the game because of it. It’s Skyward Sword all over again.
Phase one of this boss fight is the most intimidating thing I’ve ever seen in a Zelda game. The silent drone in the background as he begins to walk toward you slowly. Really well done by the composer.
THATS WHAT IM SAYING!! Like they've always given ganon these big orchestrated themes right but now his first phase is like this horror movie ass soundtrack and its terrifying because it actually gives the feeling that ganon wants to legitimately kill link
That drone is the perfect element to highlight the fact Nintendo went with his most BRUTAL variant to date. A man willing to get what he desires, even if it means killing the Queen in order to accomplish his goal.
@@Bornheck you’ve missed the point. He’s on about the ganondorf theme specifically from ocarina of time, during the tennis fight, that specific song. The “Ganon” theme is what your thinking of
To be fair, Ganondorf stole his theme song from Agahnim. But he was so good at playing it we gave it to him. Sorta like nine inch nails and Johnny cash with hurt. Even NiN themselves said Johnny owns the song now.
Love the blend of shamisen, shakuhachi and drums in these peices, makes you feel like you're fighting an Oni from Japanese folklore, esp since Ganon's design and weapons in this game are heavily inspired by traditional depictions of them.
Just beat this today, The fact he dodges your attacks was crazy to me, Along with the fact I had to basically no hit the fight since the gloom took all my hearts except a few.
When I first fought him, my master sword broke during the demon king’s army, and in the little rest period, I remember I waited 10 minutes for my sword to recharge 😂. I found out yesterday the sword will automatically recharge when you enter the fight.
This truly feels like rematch 17 years in the making. Think about it we haven’t seen ganondorf in main canon games since twilight princess. He was as good as dead and yet he finally fulfills the threat he made in his dying words: “The history of light and shadow was indeed written in blood”
It's really been that long hasn't it? TP released in 2006. Who would have thought it be so long till we saw the main villain in a main line Zelda game again. We had villains like Demise, Bellum, Yuga, Malladus, Calamity Ganon. But not Ganondorf. Can't believe I was 7 years old when he was last around and now I'm 24 lmao.
first thing i did when i started this fight was get my camera out and yell “WAIT WAIT LET ME TAKE A PICTURE OF YOU!” he did not wait💀 the picture i got is terrifying, he is charging directly towards me. he knocked me to the ground right after and without hesitation muttered “pathetic.” i was lmao
I LOVE how this entire arrangement is, for the most part, a collection of OST arrangements of when you fought Ganondorf in prior games. Phase 1 (00:00-2:46) is a remix on Twilight Princess' Dark Lord Ganondorf theme, You can really hear it in the drums at about the 1:30 mark. Phase 2 (2:46) is a remix on OOT's King of Evil Battle theme, VERY evidently, with TOTK's main theme, followed by a section with chants that I'm FAIRLY sure is a slowed-down chanting melody of a certain segment in WW Ganondorf's battle, but I'd have to check again later. Phase 3 (4:59) has a remix of the Calamity Ganon/Blights theme, BUT there is a short segment that I'm fairly certain has Battlefield of Demise as well. All in all, FANTASTIC arrangement and definitely made the weight of fighting Ganondorf truly epic in this game!
@@wearywanderer1912 I'm not 100% sure, bc it could just be part of Calamity Ganon theme, but the section @ 5:25-5:36 sounds like the Zonai chants have a sped up version of the...french horn/low flute? At the 0:50 minute mark of this OST: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-Snx0BtK3Cp8.html I'm PRETTY sure that's what that is, but I'm open to the idea that I'm hearing things, OR that this is just a rehash of the Prologue of TOTK. Note: I do mean "Battlefield of Demise" (the part where he monologues before the fight starts), not Demise's battle. Unfortunately I don't hear Demise's battle in this, which is a shame because that would've been awesome :(
This whole bossfight gave me a feeling of loneliness. He jumps down and he unsheathes his sword, all while the music keeps getting louder and louder until he starts walking towards you. Then its just a silent drone as the only music for the first phase leaving you and ganondorf in a 1v1. I really gave me a more hopeless feeling than the grandiose calamity ganon fight in botw. No one to help you as he breaks every last one of your shields in 5 swings. Truly one of the cooler boss fights I've experienced.
A lot of people say that they hardly reference each other, but I have to disagree. Sure some NPCs don’t recognize Link, and they don’t talk about BOTW's story that often, but they talk about the calamity(such as Zelda's monuments and the school in Hateno teaching about BOTW) and are clearly very connected. It’s been a few years so it’s not like the events of BOTW had just occurred. Over time people began to move on
I didn't even do any of the Great Fairy Quest in the game and I was dead set on using the starting toga like uniform (Cause its such a sick design) for most of my play through. So here I am, coming into the final boss with literal level 1 armor. By time I got to the second phase and that health bar expanded as the music got stronger I was SWEATING. Each hit was taking like 12 hearts worth of gloom damage. By time the Calamity Ganon theme motif came in for phase 3 and it was a 1 vs 1 again... The amount of quick dodges and flurry rushes while literally sitting on 4 hearts left was insane. One hit was all it took and I managed to pull it off. It was the most adrenaline pumping and most hyped ganon fight in the entire series for me and it REALLY felt do or die for a second there. Absolute banger of a boss battle.
I fought ganondorf with level 1 champion tunic( the blue one) and level 2 Hylian hood and trousers. I used the master sword and royal shield and bow. It was pretty fun
Half a decade of fighting experience in this game was not enough to prepare me for my flurry rush being flurry rushed. They’ve been saving that idea just for him.
@@FierceDeity35i felt like maz koshia wasn't too bad on normal mode but on master mode it was hell trying to get him out of the phase where he clones himself because of the regen
Maybe it’s because i only had 19 hearts, but it was a breath of fresh air fighting a final boss that truly deserved to be called a final boss. You could barely heal, and even if you could, it was barely enough. His attacks were powerful enough to not only disable your heals, but to eviscerate your total hearts one by one. His ability to dodge your own flurry rushes was terrifying. And his ever-changing attack patterns made him completely unreadable. This Ganondorf really deserves the title of final boss for actually deciding to boss you around like a final fight should.
You’ve got to be kidding This boss was a joke. I mean… not in terms of awesome-ness. But he was too easy, like everything in this game especially compared to botw He just didn’t have enough health. I was going to pop an attack up 3 and make use of my bow but decided against it after seeing how fast he was dying to me The glowing master sword has 60 base damage and infinite durability. Anyone who actually did any preparation for the fight (or if you didn’t tbh) would be able to fuse it up to about 100 if you got to this point. You can’t balance the fight as if people are going to be fighting him with a boko club for gods sake I really wanted a challenge after how easy the rest of this game had been. Safe to say I was thoroughly disappointed. I was even going to get a scimitar of the seven beforehand but was too lazy, imagine how much more ridiculously easy that would have made it His attack patters are not at all unreadable. They’re the most telegraphed set of moves in the whole game, and the game even “trains” you on his moveset through the phantom Ganon fights for goodness sake. It would have been better if they didn’t, as it would make the final fight less easy and more novel to the player
@@redandblue1013 Suit yourself i suppose. Maybe there’s a skill gap, but from what i’ve seen and heard beyond my own playthrough this boss and some other encounters in game proved difficult for many people. If you even look here in the comments you’ll find plenty other people who loved the challenge of no heals/gloom, and plenty more who struggled as I did. I feel it’s worth mentioning that by his attacks, I meant moreso his randomness. A lot of modern boss designs follows a pretty standard 2-3 attack process that you can learn even in the first run, but ganondorf here offered a lot of variance that it can really screw you over if you don’t act quickly enough, which is imperative. And the phantom ganon comparison i find it be a bit..strange. Phantom Ganon is a much slower boss that you just push to the side. The closest it prepares you for anything is multiple weapon styles, but even then, you don’t see PG lunging at you or countering your own flurries. Ganondorf does test your previous wits, but it’s fresh enough to pose a threat. I digress, everyone has their own experiences. A lot of people think this boss was challenging for many reasons, some like you may have seen it as a cakewalk which is fair. But I personally was very satisfied with this games difficulty and finale from a gameplay splendor standpoint. To each their own.
@@redandblue1013 "totk is easy compared to BotW" ... dude, what? Like, I'm not going to say ganondorf was all that tough (though he definitely was an epic fight), but tears is *not* easier than breath of the wild.
@@danieljames1868 all the shrines are much easier. None of the temples are difficult especially compared to puzzles in botw and previous Zelda games, and you can completely bypass the whole fire temple with a hoverbike because they chose not to disable zonai devices like in shrines for god knows what reason. Travel is not even an issue whether it’s verticality or otherwise. There’s no master mode (yet?). Most armour sets are more easily obtainable. You can clown on any enemy with some simple contraptions. So many more powerful tools at your disposal like muddle buds and gibdo-bone arrows, gem sheilds, forest dweller gear and much much more that enemies can’t deal with. Much and cheaper easier to apply elemental effects that completely disable enemies. Farming for weapons and materials is extremely easy (thanks to the collosieum) and your durability economy is a joke to manage compared to botw, I literally can’t empty my weapon inventory thanks to the colossieum, master sword (which is better in this game compared to degraded weapons), and rock octoroks. Arrows are extremely easy to come by. Making money is easy. You get the travel medallion for just playing the game. All the major boss fights are easier (some more than others). You get five minions to kill and stagger enemies for you without doing anything; you don’t even have to fight at that point if you don’t want. The maximum attack power you can achieve is waaaay higher and the difficulty doesn’t compensate for this compared to botw. Shrines are much easier to locate at least that’s how it feels... Max armour (88) is too high and nothing can really damage you at all with it even though awakening all the faires is easier in this game, for example in botw it would take more exploration and rupees to unlock all the fairies but in totk you are handheld through doing it... I could go on
@@redandblue1013 you make the games difficulty. If you want to cheese with high power contraptions and fusions you can, or you can use weaker weapons and less heals. You can even fight Ganon without the master sword or the sages and you have to fight the army alone as well as a boss rush and the mirage ganons he summons in phase 2 alone.
my thought process went from this "YEAH I BEAT UR ASS BOY YEAH I BEAT YOUR ASS CRY ABOUT IT" and when his hp started to fill back up and broke the bar i was like "oh shit. fuck. that's cheating. THAT'S CHEATING." and my jaw was wide open in fear lol
The amount of INTIMIDATION I felt when fighting him for the first time and his health bar just kept extending past his name, and when his gloom attacks not only cracked my hearts but COMPLETELY SHATTERED THEM
3:24 The BOTW main theme dropping here as all the friends (now sages) you made in the first game show up to help you defeat Ganondorf was absolutely magical. Unforgettable game
2:59, the part when he just activated his stone and everything goes red with the camera shake, the atmosphere, and the music sync makes that a really cool part of the fight
Without question this was the best ganondorf fight ever a simple 1v1 against him no bs energy tennis and no slow walking ganondorf and no waiting for zelda to hut him with the bow of light
100 percent. Though they did kinda tease us a horse back fight we never got. I mean we see his cool horse in that one cutscene. Still the greatest final boss fight in a Zelda game and one of the best in gaming if not the best.
The OST in this game is a masterful display of the composers knowing when to show restraint to leave room to either set atmosphere or let the sound effects fill in the blanks, and knowing when to add energy. I hope I don't see people complaining about the soundtrack like they did with botw; botw's music was good and felt like it supported the game well, but this OST elevates the experience greatly.
Can we talk about how he did that hand gesture from the old Space World Tech Demo again? I think between Twilight Princess and this, Nintendo has finally more than delivered on the promise of making that fight real
I shit myself when he flurry rushed me for the first time. I was like no fucking way this dude can do that. It reminded me of skyward sword where demise can do the skyward strike
Goes to show you how great of a swordsman Ganondorf truly is. In fact Ganondorf is a evil composite of both Link and Zelda. He has evil versions of both of their powers. Which is why it takes them teaming up to fight him. He is no joke.
I did the boss with only 5hearts, i tried more than 50 times and the last one, i did it without taking damage. I love that boss and his mechanics. It was refreshing to beat him and truly memorable.
I love how the first theme plays off a dark synth, reminds me of watching 80s anime where a protagonist faces of his final nemesis, it goes well when fighting the demon King as the chosen hero.
Easily the hardest boss fight in the series and the music here adds to the stress in such a brilliant way. The first phase in particular drives that terror home perfectly.
@@mchanna06 Great timing, actually, I beat Demise the day after Demon King Ganondorf. He’s up there for sure, really rewarded my patience, just like this one.
There are at least 2 things we still have to figure out; What happened to the divine beasts? What exactly was Calamity Ganon? At least for the second I'd say that it could have been a part of Ganondorf's power/aura leaking out of the weakened seal. However, if Link would have not defeated it, would Ganondorf still have been revived?
It’s exactly what your thinking on what calamity Ganon is…he’s been sealed for so long and over time his power would slowly come out and when it was strong enough the calamity would happen…
I would also like to know what happened to the Sheikah towers and shrines. I'm assuming they were just taken down since there was no need for them, however, at least a small mention of them would have been nice. Same for the Sheikah Slate, too. I get they wanted to change things up with the Purah Pad for gameplay purposes, but storyline-wise would have been interesting to see why the Sheikah Slate could no longer be used.
@@loz_short_stories The main energy furnace below Hyrule Castle was probably shut down after the calamity, turning off all Sheikah tech relaying on it, so pretty much everything from the ancient tech.
To my understanding, Calamity Ganon was a mannifestation of Ganondorf spite and malice toward Hyrule and his enemies. A mannifestation of his anger and hatred and if you prefer.
Not sure if anyone else has made this connection, but the break drum sounding thing in the background (the clanking) sounds EXACTLY like the Tatarigami theme from Princess Mononoke. It’s crazy how deep the references go
This was the first boss fight in a long time that I was having a hard time with. Was knocked down to 3 hearts when he had a quarter left. I am not good at parrying and I was actually scared. More scared that I would have to restart the fight from one than anything 😂
just absolute… chills, man. this feels like the definitive theme to an arch nemesis, a memento of all the different times and forms of Ganondorf you had to fight throughout your adventures in the series, and it is GLORIOUS. I cannot even begin to explain how it felt, my hair was on end and the fight itself was nothing short of amazing. brilliant, I really couldn’t have asked for a better ending
Love the percussion so much in this one, this game really knew how to set the tone with its versatility of soundtracks that were all unique to every scenario which made you feel more immersed and personable to the game. Games always should have this cause if not, you only have a game that lacks any character. The energy and the way every instrumental was structured was genius level, right next to how the whole map was developed with topography. 3 different levels and having everything become cohesive to one another through missions/ side quests, etc. really made me think how amazed i was by the immense care and mindfulness they put into structuring everything is their most ambitious and pinnacle works ever. The developers really made a masterpiece with this game despite if it wasnt that challenging but still truly engaging and breath taking in every aspect.
Still missing the transition between phase 1 and phase 2 I'm afraid! The intro to phase 2 is a super powerful moment ingame, and the crossfade here really doesn't do it justice
Every time someone uploads one of these it's just the different phases cut together rather than the transitions. The transitions might be hard to record since I'd imagine you would need to get in-game audio and edit the other noises out, but it would definitely be nice
I beat this game before any of my friends, and when asked by my roommate if the boss fight was worth the wait, if it was “authentic enough” to be a Zelda boss fight to finish the game, I told her that it was probably the most intimidated I’ve ever been during a Zelda game, but the most emotional I’d ever been. Once she reached that far, she stated it was “not bad, but kind of mediocre” and I was in shock. This was insane and she just didn’t seem to care.
