I recently bought 2 pieces for $ 30, 440C steel which is better for the class than 8cr13mov. I will definitely not buy expensive knives again. It is quite enough for everyday tasks, if I destroy or lose it I will not regret it too much .
In my humble opinion, the Ganzo/Firebird F759M (and the highly regarded SRM 7010) are probably the best deals for those wanting a small EDC folder. Thanks.
I have to say that at an even lower price point the grader folder at harbor freight is probably the best overall value out there. I bought one just for shits and giggles and to be honest while it's not by any means great ...but it's damn good for a 6 dollar knife with good lockup ( it's a pretty thin liner so Def not heavy use ) very good grips , decent ergos , decent grind , 8cr blade ( fairly soft but passable hardness ) , and out the package at least the 3 I have bought were actually hair popping sharp and that edge is repeatable quite easily ) while they would never be my go to edc / work knives I do keep one in my work bag for a backup / dirty job / co worker needs a blade . I do a ton of cutting in my work mostly cardboard and we're talking miles of it a week and it's done the job quite well on more than one occasion. I'm a Spyderco guy to the core and until I can get a lightsabere I always will be but that little cheap ass harbor freight grader knife is a hell of a deal and idk of a better value out there.
The green is nice. I simply have never liked the Delica's aesthetics, and never handled one, but that price may be enough to make me see what all the fuss is about :-) Thanks for the show!
