Thanks Jay. Had my eyes on this one and definitely going to go get one. And I really like the use of the magnet slab for size comparisons....I think your the only reviewer doing that and it's awesome because you can show 5 knives all together. Have the knife, and I would compare its action to any expensive folder. The flipper tab is better than other designs. It’s a keeper!

Glad to see you reviewing this one! I’ve been looking at it for a while. I Like that fat blade - agree on the Nessmuk influence. Ganzo has found their groove, maybe. They are a little more expensive now, but $30 ain’t bad. Thanks!

Really really liking this knife. If they made it front flip style is like it more. I've been more than impressed with the FH line, I own 8 different FH ganzo/firebirds, love them all.

Very nice folder, Jay. Up til now, I've only owned one other Ganzo in the FH series. I picked the FH41 because it reminded me of the gorgeous Massdrop Lacónico Keen. I even filed the point on mine so it looked mire like the Lacónico. This new model looks even more like the Keen. Not presently that available in the US, but I'm looking forward to getting one - say, in a month or so ?

The is the next blip in the matrix of sophisticated everything anything flipper bearing neutral handle carry since the elementum. I just bought one on Amazon for 30$ by Tuesday. Ganzo for the plug

Looks to me like the design was inspired by Ray Laconico designs with the drop point and especially the handle design. I hope they use the wire clip on more of their models.

Just a heads up if you find the steel pin a bit stiff on ganzos version of the axis lock you can take off one of the g10 scales and remove one of the springs. After removing one of the springs on mine and oiling the joint it's incredible. I just wish I had done it earlier. (I've had it for over a year.)

I'm not shy about returning or giving away a knife that I don't like. Just because I own something I don't feel the need to defend it as being The Best. I've had this knife for about 6 weeks and I like it. I was looking for a knife that I could carry in the woods before and during deer season, and that didn't cost so much that I would feel too bad if I lost it. I also wanted a bright color that would stand out in case I did drop it. Scanning Amazon, the bright orange colored one caught my attention at first. Then the similarity to the Nessmuck design kept it. I liked the price a well. I ordered it and another knife, which I've already given away. I have a few knives with a thumb stud on them, and I like the feature. But I feel that a stud would detract from the appearance of this knife. I don't know what the bevel or false blade treatment on the top of the blade is called, but I like it. I also like how symmetrical the knife is. There's a visual balance there that's hard to describe. Yes, the knife is thick, but the handle is narrow enough that it rides in the pocket very well. I wear XL sized gloves, and this handle fits my hand well. The clip surprised me. It may be the tightest clip on any knife that I have. So far it has not even partially slipped out of my pocket, or caught on anything. A couple of my knife clip sometimes catch on my seat belt when I'm exiting the car. The recessed clip mount is nice, as is the included filler on the unused side. This knife is just hard to put down. My daughter, who also likes knives, can't keep her hands off of it if she sees it laying on the counter. I bought the orange one. The orange is a true Hunter Orange. I hate it and love it at the same time, but it's perfect for a knife that will be carried in the woods, and it's exactly what I wanted when I order it. The one thing that I'd change is the blade steel. I like D2, but for a Nessmuck type knife that just begs to be used outside, I'd like a stainless steel. 440C Is a good one that would still keep the price down and it would be easier to sharpen in field with a traditional stone, or maybe VG-10 or the Chinese equivalent, but then the cost would be a tad more.

Ah, a new video to enjoy as I sip coffee from my new Knife Beater mug. I own a few Ganzos and have never been disappointed with any of them. Really digging the wire clip. Another form of deployment would be nice and I prefer my flipper tabs a little more low profile but this looks like another winner from Ganzo. Much appreciated Jay.

I've never owned a ganzo thera are so may I like and prices are incredible, this one is reminds me of the penguin a lil bit, only thing I wish is the blade looks like it has a coating I would prefer if It was tumbled or stone washed. Watched more I think I was wrong on the finish ,it may have been the lighting jay, let me know either way please

If you're looking for a nice everyday user, you really can't go wrong with a Ganzo, for the money. Almost all of their FH knives have a satin finish, except for the FH12 and 13. Thanks Adam!

With all of the hoopla regarding "Made in China", is there any way to know for sure that Ganzo and Eafengrow and Sitivien and other Chinese knife makers aren't utilizing Chinese forced labor in essence slave labor and prisoners forced to work to produce knives?
