Ganzo Firebird G727 and G727S are they better then the knives they are ripping off 

Just recently purchased a couple of Gonzos I really like them good action good alignment very smooth for an inexpensive knife

I made a Spydie Rat of a Ganzo 727. Great knife. If you want to know how to mod that Ganzo just search for “Hilltop Knives” or “Spydie Rat”. You won’t believe your eyes. Got an R2D2 also, which is a decent tool.

Ganzo got me hooked on budget folding knives. I don't think any other manufacturer has such a selection of super inexpensive knives that are consistently good and deliver the same level of quality. I would recommend any number of their knives to someone looking to get a nice quality folder at an amazing price.

I have carried a Firebird 7531 for 5 years now. I just touch up the edge every few months and it's good to go. That model seems to be discontinued now which is a shame.

I think the Ganzo version with 440c steel blade looks like good deal for the knife. There is a upgraded version of the Ontario RAT 1A with assisted opening but at the moment it only has AUS 8 instead the D2. I want the Ontario Rat 1 and the Ganzo one too.

It's a shame that they have gone up in price like everything else. I bought 727s a year and a half ago for ~16€, but after some time i sold it, now i regret it... because it currently costs ~25€ 😶

Yes you are right they are better knives then the rats AND in my cut tests the 440c out cuts the aus8 and D2 rat models.

Anyone know if i can find scale replacements for FB727S-CA?

I've just got one question, how does the jimping on the Ganzo compare to the RAT??! I've got a few Ganzo knives and I think they're great quality compared to price. Big name manufacturers should be ashamed!!!

This has got to open easier than the Rat because no lock bar pressing on the blade. Is there a downside -- is it less solid than the OG?

the rat 1 is larger than the ganzo m and the ganzo s is larger than the rat 2 putting them right in between the two - NOT A FUCKING CLONE - I agree though its a better version of the Rats.
