Hi Kristin, Sometimes it is tricky. I would ensure your contractor is familiar with the ADU projects and understands the regulations/building requirements. It may require some legwork and several conversations to find the right one. I would post your question on different social media groups asking for recommendations, reach out to others who have built an ADU to inquire on their experience/contractor, or chat with real estate agents who may have a resource to assist.
