Because of this video I got a GL-GLA and went absolutely silly with all the upgrades and using it with a 2008 WRC Kyosho hard body. About the same setup as yours except I have a sensored setup and brass 94mm body to make it work with the 2008 WRC kyosho body. I ordered extra arms to do the same thing you did to get the extra ride height.

You should make like a off-road carpet track and put proper tires on again and then it can be more of a rally car

I had no idea that the gl cars being a good option. I have an atomic amz laying around, which is somewhat similar. Great video! Now you got me thinking of ways to accomplish this too

Did you ever cut those extensions off of the frame Wltoys car that limits suspension travel? Was thinking about doing this to mine but was going to ask you first how it worked out? Did you get better suspension travel and make the car handle a little bit better for smaller scale jumps? The idea I would like to do would be sort of a rally build with little jumps and bumps on the track you know.

Thx for this and all the other videos. I have a question, if you want to do this on a rcp track, what tires in your mind would be the best for the job? PS. I have never done any drifting.

Hello! Love your channel & appreciate your fine efforts. I am currently new to drift scene and have been using Mini Z MA020 for bit and really want to make the transition to a 2wd kit. what is the easiest or most reliable chassis to setup and work on after adding proper performance upgrades. From all the different videos I have watched the Techstorm XRX DPA Sport looks promising . But then I notice a lot of people run the DRZ v2 but seems it needs more work and is finicky to achieve a good setup? And DriftArt seems to be for more advanced builders/tuners. any advice from experience would be much appreciated. If I spend $400-$700 for a setup I want minimal down time & don’t want to always be working on a bad design. Thank you!
