Dude really complained about 2$ when hes gonna try to resale it for 125-400$ smh this is exactly why people need to research all their so called vintage items youre basically robbing yourself. Heard this story about a guy who had a pair of air Jordan 1s from the 80s they were in fair condition too he sold them for 150$ and the person was able to resale them for 2k.
It's always a gamble. I have ogre battle on the N64 out of box. Internet says $70 but I only got an offer when I reduced it to $40. Then I rechecked later and someone had bought the same game for $88. Maybe mine looked fake. Who knows. I bought it for $60 originally. No profit for me.
@@christophertibbetts2458 Yikes. Man your first instinct to someone suspecting you for hypocrisy is telling them that they're stupid. Not sure what i expect from such an arrogant, self-centered comment.
I agree. They shouldn't be allowed in thrift stores or gw's. They literally cause everything to not be affordable for people who really need it. It is all about greed and they are the greediest people on the planet. Shame on those people.
Wha?? This thee exact type shit normies who assume a video for a free site called RU-vid makes you a millionaire 🙄 You really have a problem that someone makes money you didn’t? Then go get it appraised if you care so much all of a sudden an auction it off. Type of people hollering for someone taking there trash.
I hate resellers to be honest, they constantly low ball the shit out of you even if they know they're getting a good deal, now I won't even waste my time
@@darylcooper5481 i think he is talking specifically about the guys going in to make a profit while haggling over 2 bucks Yes I Imagine people waiting for the sale to open just to rapid search for anything remotely valuable just to scoop it up and resell it to be annoying for everyone
@@darylcooper5481 2 bucks bruh, we're talking about a $225 item when sold, imagine not paying it's original price when u know you're getting a MASSIVE profit.
@@Retrotoyenvy the price went up SLIGHTLY... The claim of "jacking up the price"... Dude that's not a $2 difference. Jacking up the price would be more than a $10 difference.
@@Retrotoyenvyude if you just want more views on your video just say it. You don’t have to defend yourself by saying the price did go up. Also you said the was DRAMA but the was zero you just said 25 and sold. Just say you want more views.
@@Retrotoyenvy Gotta learn how to lie, obviously you want it to profit but you need another reason to buy it, try making the transaction as fluid as possible for a higher chance of a quick sale
What's odd about the stuffed animal is that it was basically a fact that giant sea serpents existed as fact modernly until the late 50s. That's when school text books for children said they weren't so they probably still exist.
@@Retrotoyenvy Yes you are. Because of resellers garage sales holders are more thoroughly doing research how much an item is worth. Because they see video's of people making huge profits on items and they feel being left out. That's why I (someone who just wants nice stuff for less money) can't get any nice things anymore because vultures like you low ball people for it and try to resell for as high as possible.
EVERYONE CAN GO TO THE SAME FUCKING YARDSALES !! YALL JUST TO DAMN LAZY TO GET OUT AND FIND THE COOL STUFF. ANYWAYS WE SELL IT ONLINE AND PEOPLE WHO TRULY CARE AND ENJOY IT ARE MORE THAN HAPPY TO PAY FAIR PRICE TO BE ABLE TO SIMPLY ORDER IT OFFLINE SO STOP BITCHING ABOUT RESELLERS. WE ARE ACTUALLY HONEST PEOPLE
I like how you show the "bid" on ebay for what people are actually getting for items instead of showing what people are asking. Thanks for another good video. Keep em coming! 😊😊😊
Number one thing not to do at a yard sale. Never say anything about the item, dont even give any knowledge to what it is, if they know already then still play dumb.
OMG OMG OMGosh!!!!!!😊🤸♀️ I had a Cecil too when I was very young. Early 1960s. He made a great boa!! Grateful for the visual reminder memory. Never forgot him. Had Shrinking Violet too. Hmm, had Beanie too. He was Not as appreciated. THANK YOU
My mom taught me to never do that 😂 because they end up raising the price! She tells me to play dumb and don’t mention any brands or the quality of anything!
I still have my Topo Gigio puppet from when i was 2 years old! It's dated 1964. Topo Gigio was the puppet on The Ed Sullivan show for those of you that are fortunate to be much younger than myself!
Beards Were Once Prescribed In the Victorian era, doctors prescribed beards as a way to prevent illness. Back in those days, doctors reasoned that a thick beard could act as a filter that would help to trap harmful particles before entering the body through the mouth. Men were encouraged by doctors to grow a beard as needed.
I had this happen at a garage sale in Aurora Illinois on Randall Road. A woman was selling books for one dollar each. As I was in line to pay I mentioned that the school book I found, and wished to purchase, had my Uncles name written in it she then said she was now charging me six dollars. Shame on her.
Random fact, Angus young of AC/DC got the idea for the song “Dirt Deeds Done Dirt Cheap” from the cartoon Beeny and Cecil, the villain, “Dishonest John” would hold up a bag that says “Dirty Deeds” on it…..the sea monster plush toy reminded me of this lol
