No risk, no reward, Renée ! This time you hit a little jackpot with the whole bunch of baseball cards and a lot of practical items, congrats ! 👏This guy locked the black box because it was just a part of the system to secure high end tools. A great deal, that´s for sure ! And: don´t mind your hair, it looked perfect ! 👌 Greets from GER, U.
I get it, I actually use my high school locker lock to secure my gym locker when I go. I can't remember much, but I certainly was able to remember the combo! Was not expecting to find what was in that plastic tool box, always have to lock up your manicure set! Hope you have a wonderful weekend, Uwe!
i bought a 10 dollar unit on Wednesday . it appeared to be complete trash. I took a gamble and won it . After sorting it out i yielded 11,600 in cash and 3500 in gift cards. all this was mixed in with expired food , trash and mouse droppings
This just makes me wonder why Storage unit places don't just have someone salaried or perhaps a person who goes around from business to business on commission to go through storage units after people have lapsed on payments Who helps them turn a profit on anything inside and clears the unit out quicker.
More likely something that will have to be sold in substantial lots for some small percentage of what each card might fetch if a buyer wanted to buy a single card. Listing each single card with suitable photos to demonstrate its condition would probably take over a decade to complete if you first quit your day job. Hope springs eternal. I can say there isn't a signed Babe Ruth tobacco card in among the piles and piles of cards. I once had to liquidate a huge inherited stamp collection. Choices were open up a stamp store and man it all week long, or bundle it in lots and auction it off. The decedent claims it was worth $400,000. It fetched $27,000 total at auction. Nobody ever mentions all the time it takes to market collectibles as singe items, especially cards and comic books.
Great video Renee!! These storage unit videos are a great pick me up. Your excitement at what's possibly in the next tote. And that look on your face when you find something good is priceless. Keep them coming!!
Fun storage unit treasure huntress!! It feels great to find unusual items that are totally unexpected!! You did great Renee! Keep up your curiosity because it certainly spills over onto us that can't go a 'huntin'....🤑🤑🤑
Renee, just checking on you,,, glad to see you are well / safe. 🙌🏼 prayer hugs. Peace abide. 😊💟 Lord bless you and yours. 🌼 Thanjs for allowing us to tag along on your adventures. 🤗
You do lift people's spirits through this channel. I'm glad you found a high-margin unit :). I don't know anything about baseball cards but even at $0.50 each you probably have a few hundred dollars there. From reading some other comments it might be a lot more than that. Is there an underground tote trade among resellers - a lot of you must end up with so many. Don't often hear, "Diapers - smells good," in the same sentence :). Congratulations, don't spend it all in one place and have a great weekend!
Haha, I'm guessing that diaper was unused! It's funny when I was editing I noticed that I did say that the plastic tool box smelled like lotion, or something, but I did notice a smell. Made sense once we opened it! Taco Stacks is going to go through the cards and will keep some from his team, payment for opening up the lock! The cards look to be mostly from the 80s, and I'm clueless about the value. So some research will need to be done! Hope you have a wonderful weekend! History Behind the Paper should be out early in the week!
If you find BLINKER FUILD send it to Florida....they never use em down here ,they maybe outta fluid😜.....WOW!!!!!! What a great unit, all for a whopping 5 bucks!!!!!!!!!!! ... They probably wanted to not lose the lock and just put it on there.....
Blinker fluid haha ;0) Also reminds me how these new cars must charge extra for blinkers! Got your package and I'll be having a mail day this upcoming week :0)
Congratulation! What a great little locker, And it was clean. No dirty stuff. You made you money back in hangers alone. LOL Please tell me you video taped TS when you showed him the baseball cards. I would have loved to seen his face.
Renee ! Thanks for sharing this with us all! Definitely let Taco stacks look through the cards ! I appreciate you! Stay safe stay great and keep up the good work!!!
Your videos get my journal making juices going💕. Junk Journal cover idea… Sometimes we make journal covers with fabric, then one side of an Amazon envelope (which I saw in your unit🤭🤭), then the inside of cover can either be cloth or paper. 🤗💕🦋
Please be careful whom you take those cards too. There are a lot of people that will lie to you if you have something very valuable. I used to collect baseball cards as a kid and a lot of what I had were the 50's to the early 90's cards. Cards that are autographed but not personalized are worth more. (To Paper and Moose your truly Rollie Fingers would be a personalization of a card)
Great find! Those baseball cards are worth some money. Rolle was a notable player in his day. A bolt cutter will take care of that lock. Have fun with your yard sale!
The bag of brushes before you picked up the body wash/wax are auto detail brushes. The monitor looked like there's a CD/DVD drive on the right side, maybe it's an all in one monitor/computer? It's like Raw Lee, not Rollie, but yeah, real name real MLB pitcher. You can still use the tool box, just can't lock it. The second laptop looks like a Gateway
This was amazing!👍 Can not wait to see you out their at the flea market🤗❤ I mean really? 5 bucks! I am so dang happy for you. 👏 So glad Taco Stacks could help with the mystery locked box🤣 Best to you Renee❤
Gr8 locker Rene especially for $5 bucks.. You just can't beat that..😍😲 That 5k count box of baseball cards may end up being really good..🤔 Well done my friend..😉 Take care..👍💕🔥⚾👊
Please tell Taco Stacks what to do with prescription medicine as he said in a recent video that he didn’t know what to do with medication. Great $5.00 spent by the way!!
I remember Rolly Fingers, he had a handlebar mustache and was good looking. Make sure you have Taco go thru those cards, great score on this locker. Btw, your hair style is so cute!
This video came across my feed so I started watching it. Then you mentioned taco stacks. So I read your about section. Your not far from my area. I've often wondered about storage auctions but never tried it. I'm definitely more curious about it now. Thanks for the video.
I was laughing from the very first scene that you showed with the locked tool chest. For five bucks, you already are a winner. Wow - look at all those totes! All of the t-shirts, socks, shorts and long johns were incredible. The bonanza was those baseball cards ... the great Georgie Brett, Rollie Fingers (pronounced like Rolly). The laptops were great. Hard drives, erased, always sell. Of course, you just have to make sure there's nothing Presidential on them! An extra computer, or two, is also always handy to have around the house, as well. Awesome stuff and a kick to watch! Thanks for taking us along.
Nice video! In the future cut the lock! Combination lock without the combination is useless BUT before you damaged it the tool box was worth at least $5 at the flea market! Your enthusiasm is contagious! ❤️
Interesting to watch but I often feel bad for the people that lost their belongings especially the kids things. Often wonder what happened in their life to make them lose their storage lockers.
I wouldn't sell the toothpaste, but it's fine to use. My dad was a clearance rack hoarder and had dozens of travel size toothpastes. I used them all while living with him. Great locker! Lots of fun! I would be all over all those socks!!! 😊
A great unit for $5. All that brand new underwear, the usable totes, and the baseball cards are worth money. Even the toolbox can be sold. Take the used clothes to the flea market. Good for you. Tina, Al's wife
Nice surprise on the baseball cards. I'm guessing Taco Stacks can be helpful with value on those. The luggage etc. should bring some decent money as well, so I would think with the various other items, you should come out all right in the end, despite the paperwork and medicine to dispose of.
.I love your facial expression when you found the baseball cards. Hopefully they bring a good return for you. This was a good unit. Going through it was fun. Your hair is very pretty and shiny. ❄️☺️❄️☃️❄️
While I'm thinking of it...Rollie Fingers (pronounced Rawly) was a tall pitcher who won a ton of awards including MVP of the World Series in '74, I think. Also known for his huge handlebar mustache. Girl, you did well!!! Gotta go watch the rest...
@@PaperandMoose , perhaps Rollie would be a great name for a bowler? More storage units like this, Renee! Super finds for the flea market. Go through EVERY card and check comps from latest values lists. Condition is everything! I would try to sell as a whole. The Flea Market will pick them to death and take the best. I'd probably put every card valued over $2 in a holder. Ask Taco. He may know. I'd list them locally online. Or take them to a good sports shop. They'll lowball you, but you'll still may good money. You may want to send some of them off to be professionally graded. That's the big bucks. I'm guessing you won't have many of those since they were stored like that, but you never know. Good luck. PS Did I spot a protective layer of Salsa hair on your jacket? 🦮
Oh my god girl, you hit the jackpot with those baseball cards! Hundreds maybe even thousands of dollars there. I wish you could make a follow up video. Tell us how it went when you sold some of the stuff.
We easily could have cut the plastic with something a bit simpler, but weren't even thinking that - the excitement of what might be inside took over our brains :0)
