So amazing that you sold much stuff! Also the amount of stuff you gave away, I can see how much you have grown in the last 2 years! Every step forward is a step forward!
I love you mentioning the "slow rollers". I feel so bad driving slow past a rummage and not stopping. But I'm looking for girls' stuff - and you can spot a girls rummage from a mile away!
Lol!! When I used to yard sale...I did the same thing!!! My boys were little in the car and I was looking for toddler boys clothes & toys! I didn’t want to bring them out of the car if they didn’t have what I was looking for too!!! Lol
When you start to clean out the basement again, when you declutter, if you can't sell or give stuff away on Facebook, send items to the Thrift Store that took the stuff from your Garage Sale
When you have the stuff out and nicely presented anyway, maybe you could put your favorite leftovers directly on Craigslist or Facebook market place after the yard sale. And if they don't sell till the next yard sale and don't sale AT the yard sale it is probably time for it to go to goodwill :)
If havent sold in garage sale DO DONATE. Let it go, Let it go !! You made some $$ back ,& for a good cause so is time to move forward & be happy with the success.😉
It’s so neat that one of your subscribers was able to pick something up from your house and bless her own. ❤️ I hope she has a great prom, my Daughter’s Prom is this Saturday.
Mrs. Heart, I've gone through and watched alllll your videos in the past few months, and I'm so incredibly proud! Your optimism, perseverance, and generosity is inspiring for me to get my house and life back!
Oh my goodness!!! I am so happy you are getting your house and life back!!! How exciting is that!!! Oh you know I’m cheering you on as we heal together 🌟🌟🌟
That’s the best scenario when you can finish in the early afternoon and still have a big chunk of the day left. Well done! Glad you were able to let a lot go!
When I visited my sister in Florida, I was amazed that people held yard sales so early in the morning. Around here nothing starts before 9am, and more & more sales are advertising 10am starts.
Wow🤯 you cleared so much stuff! & made somuch money 💵 as well😃. I'm glad you enjoyed the experience it shows how far you have come. I would love to see the next one.
👏👏👏 This is the most community involved thing I've seen, and it's awesome. Having so many rounds of different types of groups to help get rid of all of that is such a success!
I love how this yard sale turned out so good! Very happy for you! You are a wonderful person to give half of the earning to the Woman's Shelter. And you look lovely in the orange dress you wear at the beginning! Cheers! 🦄 💜
You are having so much success with your journey because you are being so generous, in your spirit and your donations. Your karma is thriving! Congratulations! It's a joy to share in your experience!
I applaud you for all your hard work and dedication to helping the woman's shelter. You are a true inspiration and light of the world. Keep being your amazing self, Mrs. Heart!!!!
It really depends on the area here, but typically no one will bother stealing yard sale items especially overnight before the actual sale is on, mostly because higher-ticket items are the only things NOT put out ahead of time. My own mindset is that if someone is willing to steal from my yard sale items (which are getting donated if they don't sell), they must really need it and I can consider it an early donation. To steal the tables would either cause a racket from removing all the items quickly or take a lot of time by carefully and quietly removing said items, either way drawing too much attention to the thief. My own area is quite rural, and that racket or lollygagging in a driveway would generally alert a gun owner to the person both illegally trespassing AND attempting to steal- not a bright idea for thieves (I don't know anyone who I think would actually shoot, but I sure don't want to find out the hard way whether I was right). I imagine in an area with houses closer together, like Ms. Heart, there might be some sort of neighborhood watch or just high visibility of the front yard from multiple houses worth of people, some of which are likely awake at any given hour. That said, there are definitely areas here where setting up early for a yard sale is pretty much asking for everything to be stolen!
That’s good. Would love to visit North Carolina one day. We don’t really do yard sales in the UK. Most people either sell online, donate or would go to a car boot sale to sell their items.
Girl you are doing so good! That was a wonderful outcome! You are a blessing. Enjoy the experience you earnd the money for! O, I so wish me a friend like you! ♥ Love from your German unicorn ♥
That was great that you sold as much as you did that some got donated for free and some to that thrift store and still some for next garagesale😍💕 and you got fan girled🤗😁🌸
Wow Miss Heart ❤️ take a bow 🙇♀️ You definitely have the biggest heart ❤️ in every part of the yard sale you were helping people even down to all the recycled bags for their purchases. I’m delighted your going to use half the money for a family experience because ye certainly deserve it. Well done 👏 Stay safe and healthy. Mary, Joes wife 👏❤️👍🙇♀️💐🦄💪
A tip I do is when my family did a yard sale years ago, we did it 2 days so we made more money! Also when I was a kid I took a garage sale sign and started dancing and it actually gained a lotta customers 🤣 I also want to mention that you are a role model to so many thank you for your story ❤️
Great job! I haven't had a yard sale in years, but I still love to go to them! Also, I love that you say 1st and 2nd and 3rd shift - my dad worked in the textile mills in the South, and I grew up calling those shifts 1st, 2nd, and 3rd, but I find now that a lot of people don't use those terms. It brought back great memories of my dad!
I worked 2nd and then 1st, my husband 3rd for 10 years while our kids were small. Now he works 10 hour shifts, and many companies do the same, or there is more weird hours. Its not as common as it used to be to have 3 8hr shifts.
It’s so cool that a subscriber got to meet you!! I actually had a RU-vidr turn up to my garage sale XD he got a good deal - and I loved chatting to people 😁 My stuff was lots of little things, too! I’m not sure how much money exactly, I just know I packed less stuff back into the house. The before and after shoot didn’t happen as I had to pack away quickly in the rain! I didn’t want to donate things directly to charity shops as surplus might end up in landfill... but at least 10% of my sales yesterday is being donated ☺️ I’m not keeping things from charity, I’m (hopefully) keeping things from landfill. 🌱 (the biggest reason I have so much stuff is I can’t bear the thought of it sitting in a dump - I’m kinda obsessed!) Yet to post on Facebook/ eBay because I could do quick photos in the rain :p I seriously don’t know what’s clicked for me this last week - I was grabbing things to take outside on the morning of just because I saw it all in a new light! It reminded me of the surprised joy I felt when I saw you grab and go with things for your last sharing table video - we’re definitely healing!! 😁✨ We done good 😎 💪 & I know the women’s shelter will super appreciate the donation, and enjoy your experiences 💕
Oh I just LOVE YOUR MESSAGE!!! That is so amazing and I am so incredibly happy for you!!!! I absolutely get what you saying about the landfills...it literally hurts me to throw something into a landfill! I’m always finding ways on how to recycle, reuse or give away!! We just love the Earth!! Lol You are an inspiration to so many and I’m cheering you on 📣❤️
I’m crying from your podcast (just finished listening to it) and now grinning from ear to ear from your message! Thank you so much!!! I honestly couldn’t have been A-OK with parting with so much stuff in one go without your positivity on your channel. Healing our selves, the planet, and people around us as we go ✨💕✨
That is very nice that you are donating half of the $ you made. I hope 100% of the stuff that was left went to your friend with the thrift store and 0% went back to your basement so that you never have to deal with it again. Keep up your efforts. Good job!
My goodness! We have/had so much of the same decor and kitchen items. Even the rolling clothing rack, except mine is chrome, lol. Hoping to have our rummage next weekend! 😁
I can't believe that you set everything up the night before outside!! I would be afraid that someone would steal your things!! I will be having ours in Oct....I have a lot of Holiday Decorations, that hopefully would go fast!!
U are a professional tag seller! So organized! Since u keep decluttering so much maybe u should have another sale in the fall? It’s so so sweet of u to give money & donations to the women’s shelter. U are truly such a kind soul!🥰❤️🙏🏻
Congratulations on your successful yard sale and letting go of a lot of the straggling pieces that didn't get sold! The hardest part of yard sales for me is figuring out how to price items- especially when the quantity and variety of items is so large. Avid yardsalers have told me that if you price things too low, it will put people off, so "Everything for a dime/quarter" while being a very simple pricing structure also can make all your items look cheap and uninteresting. Usually I decide it's not worth my time and just bring them to a donation place, but then I don't get any joy out of getting up early to start, chatting with the people who come through, or most any other aspect of running a yard sale. If anyone has general tips, I'm sure I could use them in the future, but probably moreso when a generous friend says they'll deal with the people aspect for me if I get them an idea of what I'd like stuff to go for, haha.
I would shop at your house, too, I love second hand children clothes :) In Germany yard sales are not such a thing, but I sold on markets - the „rules“ how to put the stuff out are the same. Well done!
Hello from Germany, hi miss Heart ,you are a cute unicorn ,Sweetheart and a Blessing for us all, a heartangel for your Community. You can be proud of you, your the best, your littel Family is Bless with you....be safe
Thats so wonderful that you gave the leftovers for free! Maybe you can keep the yard sale totes in the garage? And as you declutter more you can put straight in the garage and get it out of the basement. Keep more and more out of the basement
