Her voice just cuts through everything. So crystal clear. The band can play as heavy reverb and nasty as they want….her voice cuts it brilliantly. None like her.
I wouldn't mind finding out why the drum kit is partially surrounded by clear plexiglass. Is it for acoustic reasons so he can still hear what he's playing with all the guitar amps cranked?
Garbage have what they call a 'silent stage' meaning there's they don't use monitor speakers. They each have earpieces. If you turned off the house PA system; all you'd hear are Shirley's unamplified vocals and the symbols, all other drums are muffled and/or just pads that trigger preset samples and loops,
