Surprisingly, I did not have the knee or arm issue. I gave the left arm a big pull and it still did not fall apart and the knees are perfect. I bought mine from BBTS, so not sure if they fixed some of the QC issues with the later batch of figures.

the body wobble can be easily fixed. i just used a piece of plastic from the body when you first open the box and i just covered the connect point with it and it fixed it

Just jumping into this line and I appreciate a no-shill review, especially when it comes to the quality of a figure. Anyone blasting you for keeping it real are the reason QC is dipping. Expecting a premium figure to NOT crumble in your hand is pretty darn reasonable.

I got lucky with mine. I got just recently, and I dared myself to test the arm, and it didn't explode on me idk if the newer copies fixed the qc issues or what but I'm really happy

Hello, Mr. Rocco! Appreciate the dedicated work and passion regarding these figures. I am from Germany and I have the same and even slightly worse problems with my copy of the figure. My figure's right arm is the one that pops out a lot. The left arm is surprisingly fine - for now... But my whole figure was loose right out of the box. Torso joint was horrifyingly loose, hip joints were atrocious. The whole freaking figure was whobbling like a wet noodle. Never EVER experienced something like this with figuarts before. I am shocked about the qc issues on the lates figures. But this is my personal worst figuarts DB figure to date. I had to disassemble the whole figure and put super glue on ALL of the ball joints... Now it is better - but we as the consumers should not have to do this with an 80-100 dollar ( in my case euro ) figure. Unacceptable! Next critique point for me is the size of the figure. He is to tall... Trunks is 17 years old at this point and smaller than goku. I know that figuarts are for the most part not completely in scale to one another, but with Trunks it bothers me because he is, in my opinion anyway, to muscular as well. He is huge in comparison to what he should look like at this point in the series... Keep up the good and honest work - don't let yourself be bullied by people who chill for bad products. never owned any figuarts toys because it's too expensive for me. but i remember when it was 'the company' for toys, and now it's slowly becoming like dragons stars in terms of quality😂 my dragon stars jiren is still having a problem with its right feet constantly coming off since the day i unboxed it😂

I used to have a ton of dragon stars because I thought Sh was too expensive but either way later down the line I sold all the dragon stars n bought an Sh figure arts Blue Goku and blue vegeta and I was impressed with em and so yeah now I got a bunch of them on display but you do gotta be careful with these that have Qc issues I’ll say not all releases are like this

I also have this figure, same problem with left arm and legs/torso.. anyway it looks incredible and i love dbz trunks but in the hands feels a bit like a bootleg, unacceptable from a premium figure like this. made in vietnam shf have very bad qc and overall lower quality and premium feel Btw great review👍🏻

I know how to fix the leg issue (from experience with super hero Goku and vegeta) 3:14 1. Take Off The Leg 2. get A Piece Of Toilet Paper 3.put the piece of toilet paper in to the little hole at the leg or wherever it is 4. Place the leg back on (may require a little bit of force) 5. Do The Same To The Other Leg And your done and your figure gets to live another day! Idk if you can do it with the torso but you can try! For knee cap use some super glue or gorrila glue and and it may work for the arms super glue or gorrila glue and do the same with the feet

I'm here to decide if i am buying it or not (he's back in stock locally). Well. I'm not buying it XD And it sucks because Trunks is my boy too. *By the way it seems you dont have the Xenoverse version, this one i have and it's a pretty good figure, and he has a smiling face. But be aware that the vest is stiff so legs movement is limited. No QC issues in sight, just be careful with the peg that connect the sheath to the back, i heard it could get stuck and break when trying to remove it.

I accidentally bought 2 and they were both riddled with QC issues. However I rolled the dice on a 3rd copy that was listed as a reissue and after owning it for a few day's I can happily confirm all the QC issues have been fixed. Absolutely love this figure now. Still salty about the 1st 2 junk coppies though guess ill just hang on to em for spare parts

I live in Japan and I bought this figure the day it released. The qc was so bad I literally sold it the next day and never looked back. I also agree dragon ball Z trunks was a bad ass. When super got a hold of him they made him so soft, weak and he was crying all the time. I couldn’t believe how they changed his character like that, so I never bought that figure. They will rerelease the future trunks but this new teenage body is bigger. I wish they would the increase the body size of this future trunks body to match this new body.

It's one thing to just get a bad figure. That's completely fine and happens to everyone, not every figure comes out 100% and at the end of the day it's just a one-off thing. The issue is that it's NOT a one-off thing here. The problems you have with this figure are a widespread problem, to the point that basically every review of this Trunks at least mentions (if not outright shows) the arm falling off or the joints being loose and floppy. People need to stop defending this kind of stuff and REALLY need to stop telling people to just "fix it themselves" and start gluing their figures together just to make them stop falling apart. This is a 70$ premium figure and the COMPANY needs to fix these kinds of problems before figures even hit shelves, that's the entire point of Quality Control.

Dude my super hero gokus head broke off after I tried to have him look slightly downward. Smh the super hero Goku and Vegeta are loose overall.. kinda disappointed. Goku Black and ui Goku are amazing imo . Still gonna get more of course but was definitely let down by the super hero versions of them . I heard Gohan was a very good figure though

Tbh despite being loose he ain’t bad he still stands but quality control is bad. Planning to start a boycott absent hasbro on Marvel legends and Transformers. This last year SO MANY issues. Prices go up and the size of and quality of figures have gone super down I’m just waiting till after the next c men wave idk why so many people freaking out over new cyclops figure. So figure let them have that then start the boycott hoping collectors will get will power and join so we get better quality figures at cheaper prices. I may just do figuarts next cause this figure needed better quality control and Krillin earns strongest man those defective knees I can imagine what else.

That’s so easily fixed. You take nail polish and apply it to the peg of the arm. Wait until it dries. Done. It would be better if it didn’t happen for sure, but if all the QC issues possible, it’s the easiest to fix by a mile.

This Trunks figure has a lot of problems in the way they designed certain things and the engineering. I also found out that the thigh swivel isn't a real thigh swivel. They didn't use a mushroom peg, it's a metal screw rotating inside a super thin piece of plastic. That's why the legs are floppy, because there's a bit of room inside the plastic for the screw to rotate freely and avoid damaging the leg, but in the long run that may eventually translate into looseness or breakage. Everybody should be careful when moving Trunks' legs.
