Garda Cars - The vehicles used by An Garda Síochana 

We take a look at the cars and vehicles used by An Garda Síochana (the Irish Police).
The various Garda branches (roads policing unit, public order unit, armed response unit etc.) use different vehicles from vans to estates, saloons to 4x4's. In the video, we take a look at these vehicles in the #Garda fleet in 2020.
On the street or road (when responding), Garda cars can pass by quite quickly. We take a closer look at the cars that help the Guards to keep us safe. From marked patrol cars to vans and unmarked cars, the force uses different types of Garda car for different requirements.
The roads policing unit (formerly called traffic corps) have some cars that are capable of keeping up with most other cars on Irish roads, should they ever need to chase another car.
