Yes, we are still quite lucky with the weather being mild enough to keep our roses performing.You're right about the selling power of the name. My wife's late mum was known as Millie, so buying Mum in a Million for her was a no-brainer for me. I really like the glossy foliage on the Duchess of Cornwall, and having looked it up online it looks like my sort of rose too, so maybe that will go on my list. Beautiful picture of yourself too!
Gorgeous 😍 over here in the snowy mountains we've had a early spring and very hot, so the roses have bloomed way to early so not sure on summer blooms just have to wait and see.

Hi Lin, lovely video. Rose names are a minefield aren't they? As long as you can check the 'ICRAR' like Ausmajesty for Elizabeth, for example, you can identify them in other countries where sometimes they take on weird and wonderful, if not easily pronounceable names ! The chippendale rose you mentioned I thought that was named after Thomas Chippendale, the famous English furniture maker, although I have to say I do like your male stripper theory too haha either way beautiful rose 🌹
Hi Soulgirl. You are very knowledgeable. As a rose, I’d much rather be named a Duchess than a furniture maker . I don’t know a Thomas Chippendale . I get my furniture from IKEA !😅 Soon you’ll tell me they have a rose named Volkswagen !!!😂😂😂

A Yorkshire lad, we're very proud of him, some of his pieces fetch £million's. I remember maybe 15 yrs ago maybe more, one of his sofas selling for £2.2 million at Christies. There are many Chippendale pieces in the royal households and throughout the world. Dumfries House owned by the King has a large collection and one of the most valuable pieces is a bookcase reckoned to be worth in excess of £15 million I believe.. but who's counting ?!!!!? 🤣🗄🪑🛏
