You have the best personality!!!! You are informative, funny, your real and relatable. Some of these garden accounts can be a bit over the top and not realistic for the average gardener. Thank you !

Michelle, I loved this video with you moving to different areas between garden questions. Your layered hair looks great. It's fantastic to see the wonderful job people have done with their gardens this year. Mine was a complete failure. The heat took out my vinca. Echinacea, gardenia and too many more to name. I guess failure pictures wouldn't inspire anyone. Oh well there's next year.

Love your videos. Although I do have to mention I prefer the speed and energy you talk when you were explaining the pics vs when you are in front of your garden. Sometimes you remind me of a kid that’s just too excited and speaks to fast to get your message across and understood. Breath, slow down. It will make your videos even better than they are now. Best wishes!

Hunters call red twig dogwoods "deer candy". They recommend planting it in woods to attract deer.

Michelle…..love all the videos, learning SO much. I am also in northern illinois zone 5. (McHenry). Today as I was pulling weeds etc I noticed a tunnel like that zigzagged around the garden and right up to my river birch tree. Any ideas what could have made this? As I dug around it seemed to have a sawdust type of look to the dirt. 😳. The tree and surrounding plants look fine. Thanks…….feeling nervous. Never saw anything like this before.

Does your cleome self seed? Or do you collect the seeds? I love the look of those big clumps of flowers.

I have always used the proven winner variety and they are sterile.

Doesn't your Cleome reseed itself? I'm in zonen5, Illinois too and I would get their seeds everywhere in my previous home!
@gardeningTLC
@gardeningTLC 9 дней назад
So far no. I use only the proven winner variety and it is sterile.
