@TKCL

I don't really preserve root vegetables, I found keeping them in a dark cool space they tend to last plenty long enough before I eat them up.

Andrew, I watch a lot of homesteaders. I think they’d recommend saving the money on the dehydrator and save up for a freeze dryer. Basically 100% nutrients saved by freeze drying plus LONG term storage.

Good afternoon Andrew, my sister's veteran told her to give her dog a green bean for treats and her dog loves them. The size given is about half of one of your beans, equals 1 treat. For the dove's, could you put a couple of sprinklers on the top of your fence with a motion sensor so when the doves come the sprinklers come on to scare them away
@TKCL

The anasazi beans are great in ham hocks and beans, baked beans and beans for salad. They are a bit on the sweeter side. Dry out the beans and store. No need to soak them before use. Just wash and cook. Great to use for mexican dishes too!
@TKCL

Dry the beans in the pods?
@CrystalParanormally
@CrystalParanormally Год назад
@@TKCL You shell/remove the green beans from the pod and they are eaten fresh or cooked. For Dried Beans, let the pods get brown and dry on the plant. Pick them before they can split open and spread out to finish drying. Remove from dried pods and store.

Great looking garden:) I have never seen round zucchini are there about the same amount of seeds as the long zucchini? I like to prepare my zucchini,in 3 cup measurements in the freezer so I can make zucchini bread. Also never grown bush beans I think that too is I need to try. We only started our garden maybe a month ago just because we had snow and cold weather for so long here in our part of California. I understand having food in the freezer but my goodness for two people that is a lot of food. :) my son, and daughter-in-law are just like you for filling the freezers as he loves to hunt and fish, and that fills his freezer or I should say freezers:) we bought them one of those machines last year for Christmas and they absolutely love it and they use it all the time:) tfs and God bless:)
@TKCL
@TKCL Год назад
Yes a similar amount of seeds in them. As for the food, we attend cookouts all the time. So we cook and prepare a lot of our food for others.

Hi Andrew it’s been safe here from the fires but for a few days had to stay inside due to smoke. I am on the east coast of Lake Huron in a town called Kincardine. They are saying a lot of fires are arson but this crazy liberal government wants you to think is it’s all due to climate change. Canada needs a new Government right away, Trudeau is disliked and a the worlds biggest liar plus corrupt. It’s starting to all come out, hope he is gone very soon. 👍👍❤️❤️😗

Your potatoes look nice, I hate buying potatoes at the grocery, they go rotten before I use them up! Some green beans with new potatoes and some ham or bacon sounds good! Have you ever used a freeze dryer? It seems to just dehydrate the vegetables and fruit pretty easily, then just reconstitute them and they are ready to use. Cog Hill Farm uses theirs quite a bit, they just freeze dried some blackberries and then tried some when they were done and they said they were like candy! They have freeze dried zucchini’s and squash also. Hope your back hasn’t been giving you any more problems ! Take care and I will be watching for your next video.😊
