Oh wow I am blown away. Love love all the ideas!! Thank you for addressing my long fence. You picked out many of my favorites and a couple I have not even heard of. The septic information was also excellent will keep me from making costly mistakes on the other side.

Thank you for the septic tank info. We are getting ready to do something around ours. Thinking about an annual plant area. Will look for shallow rooted annuals. Need to do some investigating. Great video.

I love this series! I have a hard time picturing what each variety looks like when it's full size so I love how you add the pictures. I also have a large overhang on my house in full shade for about 3 feet but then it's full sun for another 5 feet and I struggle with what to plant. I'm constantly putting stuff in and taking it out because it doesn't look right. What would you do? I love your gardening style and know you would make it beautiful! I'm in northern California zone 8b. (In the mountains. We get a lot of snow every winter) Thank you in advance if you read this 😊

@@gardeningTLC yes, I watch her as well and get a lot of inspiration from her. Infact, we are only an hour or so apart but our climates are very different. I live at a higher elevation and don't get nearly as hot as she does. We often get many feet of snow every winter. Thanks for taking the time to respond 🙂

Love these. We are in zone 7 southeast. We can’t do blue spruce here. They don’t live here but I wish they did because they are so beautiful. Also we get so hot and humid in the summer that our hydrangea never turn pink. They go from white to a tiny bit of a pink hint and then go brown. I still love them and plant them anyway.

I thoroughly enjoy your channel, though I garden in zone 8A in the hot steamy South. Some of the issues you address apply to my challenges. Any that don't specifically apply to my conditions are still interesting. In the center of a city at least I've never had to worry about deer or rabbits!

I enjoyed your landscaping ideas for these problems. Even I can use some of these ideas, but I can't find Brunnera, Nepta cat's pajamas or allium. There are few nurseries near me and HD or Loews didn't have them last year. I guess I'll order them.

Thanks for sharing your ideas on solving these garden problems. I have an embankment that has very sandy soil and is in full sun. Can I plant the Nana juniper under these conditions too? Everything I plant dies. Zone 5b, Ontario Canada

Love your videos! You are so genuine. I am in zone 6a west central IL. My neighbor plays his radio 24 7 and has an outdoor woodburner. I would like to plant an evergreen screen but I am worried about creating a fire hazard. The space is in our back yard it is about 20ft wide and 35ft long. We aren't back there much because there is no privacy. Can you suggest some shrubs or smaller trees I could use? Would really appreciate your thoughts.

@@gardeningTLC Thank you for responding. My space is full sun. Is there a viburnum that would stay evergreen in winter Zone 6A. I kinda love viburnums.

Question…I planted sedums last year but they were repeatedly attacked by “something “. Whatever was attacking them was not eating them, just cutting off stocks of the new growth and leaving it on the ground. Could this be birds? The sedums are growing back this Spring. Wondering how I can protect them.
@gardeningTLC

?? Not sure. Try a repellant
