To be fair, the whole euros has been awful and how many teams have actually impressed? France have been rubbish. Italy? Rubbish. Germany looked very decent but lost in the knockouts. The Netherlands? Just their usual selves. You know they will never go all the way. England? Rubbish (apart from the Dutch game). You see? Mostly everyone has been shite. So if we become champions by being shite ourselves, we will still be the champions. Lastly, it’s not all luck really, is it? If it was, Scotland may have gone further.
