Garlic OS 2.0 will work on the RG35xx plus. However, the exact install process would be different than what I do in this video. Below are the instructions if you want to try to follow it yourself. I plan on making a video in the next week showing the install and trying it out myself. github.com/GarlicOS/bootloader_anbernic_rg35xxplus
Sorry to bother you but I managed to install Garlic OS following your steps but now that I try to enter the library I don't see anything... no sub-folder with the various game consoles. I also tried to load 3 different bios for PS1, maybe this could be the problem?
I have not seen that error yet. When I'm home I'll try to see if I can replicate the error on my system to figure it out. You using the rg405m? Stock or with gamma os? As for now if you have not tried already I would just format the SD card again and try it again.
As of right now GammaOS is more complete as it lets you utilize the GPU to play games above PS1. However a lot of people really enjoy getting away from android and like the Linux experience that GarlicOS provides. Hopefully in future updates GarlicOS unlocks the GPU.
Are you still able to boot to stock or gamma OS or are you stuck in a boot loop? I only thing I have seen that stops garlicOS from booting is if the init files still has the .txt extension on it. Did the bootloader app run without issues? Are holding the power button then holding the home button 1.5 secs after and then letting go of both buttons when the Ambernic screen shows up?
