@contessa, personally i have a headcanon that garm sort of deconstructed/focused solely on the lightning aspect of his element, and that's how he's able to do that. As for why he never uses it again? i still don't know.

I was able to do it, but I can't show you all my secrets. Then I was also able to cured, but now I can't do any of those.

One of my biggest questions about that scene. Why did Wu have powers but he supposedly didn’t? And why didn’t Jay at least mention it when Garmadon used lightning powers, HIS ELEMENT, in front of him? It never was brought up again. Maybe he just worked up a lot of static electricity on the sleeping bag lmao
