Hot take but I never liked modern garmadon from season 8 and 9, he just felt more of a boring villain, although he was more menacing. March of the Oni made garmadon more funny but something still felt off about him. And then here is crystallized where I take back anything bad I have ever said about garmadon. I love him in this season

I'm not gonna lie, Garmadon was like the only good part of Crystalized Part 2. It kinda sucks too because we could've seen a semi-repaired relationship between Lloyd and Garmadon, since he's basically a darker version of Sensei Garmadon now (probably one of the best things about Crystalized) and has clearly found his love for Lloyd again. He just didn't know how to show it, but he cares much more than in MoTO. He was literally trying to help Lloyd the whole time. I was watching Hunted again and that just made it clear that Crystalized completely ruined Lloyd's character when it came to Garmadon. If anything, he should've been happy that Garmadon changed for the better because that's literally what Lloyd wanted and believed in during the ENTIRE Oni trilogy. And then Garmadon went and did exactly that! Like yeah he's not his old self, but Harumi made that impossible. If Lloyd gave him a chance (which Oni Trilogy Lloyd would have) I think would've had a similar dynamic to S3-4, except Garmadon teaches him about his dark side (Oni) instead of his light side (Dragon) and they would be getting used to having each other in their lives again.
