Great video! You answered some doubts i had. I would like to know if it has a lap button. For example I am running a marathon and when I pass km 5 I use the lap button to get the results of that lap ok 5k. I saw there is a lap but you showed it from the pause menu and I need to use it with out pausing the clock. thank you!!!!!
Hi there. Yes you have what is called a Lap Key option that you can set (under the Activities & Apps setting) so that you can simple press the Back button while in the given activity to record a lap. Hope that makes sense and helps.
@@WatchJumble Yes,it's helpful. I come from Fenix 3 and the watch has a lap button I used a lot for training and competitions. I wasn't sure on this model because it doesn't says lap anywhere! Thank you very much for answering.
@@pablotarditti6358 I have had a few different Garmins. Approach S40, Forerunner 955, Instinct 7X, several Instincts. Everyone has their preference but I always liked the Instinct series the best. 2X is awesome if it fits your wrist. Good luck!
I did a walk with GPS, and when I finished my walk, the map and elevation gain didn't appear on the Connect app. Do you know why that is? My instinct2 solar had 3days remaining. I selected walk activity, waited for GPS to find satellite, and then I pressed the GPS button to start. Thanks
That is very odd. At first I would think you did not have GPS turned on for the walk activity (that should be the only reason the map does not show after your complete an activity). However you said it waited to connect to GPS (which means you had it on). I am not sure. Wondering if maybe Garmin Connect had issues and maybe the data will eventually appear? Sorry not sure, I would recommend trying again. . . make sure you have GPS on for walk activity. . . then go for a short walk. If it doesn't do it again, I would give Garmin a call to see if they can figure out what is going on.
