2 questions. Why didn’t you mount the sending unit in the front storage compartment? Wouldn’t that read the depth better as approaching obstacles? 2- how does that portacool work ? Worth the price ? I’m about to get one
You can, mounted in the middle because it would always contact water and puts your readout in the middle of your boat. Yes, the portacool works great in my garage in AZ, as long as there isn't much humidity.
