@scottspinner1 thanks. I'll check them out. Gotta select a tone arm first though and the get the plinth. As mine will be used to play 78s as well as vinyl I am looking at a two arm set up. I have a 1959 expert pick up for my 78s already so it's just the one for vinyl to choose now.

Any particular reason why ? I’m considering a Garrard 401 right now. I’d like a Thomas Schick tonearm at one point.

@@thedude6478 I think garrard and sme go hand in hand. I already have a 312 on my 301. I’ve had sme 4 and 5s on other turntables all great. Lots of great arms out there.

@@scottspinner1 anything I should be on the lookout for when buying a 401? Questions for the seller ?
