apparently offcanny has a full movie length video in the works according to their patreon, thats why they have been inactive for so long is cause its just jakob and trevor working on it
The stress of working with Garett and his overall personality and the extreme kind of content they were making pushed Jakob into attempting major self harm. As funny as the classic offcanny stuff is, you can also kind of tell how ridiculous and stressful that would be. It's easy to laugh it off in the moment but if the degenerate gags become genuine enough, itll take a toll. Even filthy frank had to quit his crazy stuff because it was literally harming his physical and mental health.

@@Theviper173 Probably for the best. He (and others) seemed to feed off of the cycle of not so good behaviors getting attention, and content creation is a highly competitive and saturated market. No shade towards him ofc, but ik from experience that this kinda thing can just make you more depressed. Hope he is doing well regardless.
