Im currently running this manifold with the tomei mx7960 turbo on my fully built motor bk2 2.0t. But i do plan on switching to this turbo for more power!
On an honest note, would you recommend going with this turbo kit or going with Tim's BT-400 Turbo Kit? I'm a bk2 already tuned on your stage 2 tune. Also, with this turbo kit is it recommended that you get the upgraded oem injectors as well? Any other supporting mods for a stock engine such as fuel pump, etc?
Hello I am thinking of buying this kit for my bk2 2.0t auto and I have some questions regarding it. Does it use an external waste gate? And do I need a aftermarket intercooler to hit 400whp. And is the gen 2 3071r a better option for the auto?
I have a tuned BK2 that has 300whp all I’ve done to it is ecu tune with down pipe and intake. I just bought my E85 kit and a upgraded front mount intercooler and a ported throttle body. I want to buy these kit but kinda scared that I might just be a little over the 400hp. What would be the best option??
Hi! does that kit come with a oil restrictor? i heard you need that once u go for a ball bearing turbo else you end upp with lots of oil in your CAI/intercooler.

Im thinking to switch to this set up soon currently running stuffed turbo on E85 (bk2 2013 AT 165,000 miles) what do you recommend me to do with the engine before I put this kit? I dont wanna blow the engine to fast
What kit would you say is best for hitting around 380whp without e85 as in Canada it’s not really available around me. There were 2 kits I was looking at this one in the video and the Tomei mx7960 unless there is another you recommend.
manual transmissions have less power loss through the drivetrain and have the ability to rev out higher than automatics in general so more power to the ground and wider powerband
Sorry if this is a noob question but how does one go about getting a tune once installed? Is the car drivable at all once swapped? Do I need to find transport to a shop that can tune it or something?

I follow many genesis coupe fb pages and I see a lot of people needing new engines. (Not tuned by you or this kit)
Well I’m order for the tune to even work in the first place I would just recommend a aftermarket intake then the tune then the turbo kit. I think it’s tuned to be compatible with the alfaspeed tune but I’m not sure.
I have 2012 genesis coupe 2.0t. The turbo just went bad and have to replace one. I drive a lot everyday. Everything in the car is stock. Which one do you recommend? I went your website and got confused. I drive around 90 miles everyday.

So you’re saying that my bk1 2.0t that has a isr race catbaxk exhaust with my cat gutted out, k&n cold air intake, and BOV. i can take the GT3076R with the step colder plugs, and boost controller, with stock intercooler, stock injectors, fuel pump etc slap the turbo kit you’re selling in and get a tune and run 370-380whp just fine? If so you’re guaranteed a sale for one of those beginning of next year for sure!!!
on a bk1 you need injectors and highly recommend doing an intercooler upgrade. 3076R can safely do 350whp on the manual bk1 at around 20psi, some have pushed to 21-22psi and gotten 370+whp as well but our recommendation would be 20psi for the bk1
So question what size/model would I need to buy for a 2011 2.0t manual if I’m trying to get the most hp outta it? And would I have to tune it immediately after installation?

@@BTRcarcustoms I’ll be going with a gtx, wiseco pistons, k1 rods, rebalanced crank, arp head and mains. Apart from that I’m already using the mishimoto race intercooler, full 3inch exhaust turbo back with a haltech ecu

I'm in the market to purchase ASAP I have a 2013 bk2 2.0 rspec manual I'm currently tuned and have a full turbo back exhaust from stock turbo I want to upgrade my turbo wanna be making 400 without switching fuel systems which turbo do you recommend for me and do I have to buy a bk1 o2 housing I don't care about passing emissions
When I go on the website for this I choose the 2013-14 turbo it asks me if I have a bk1 manifold and it asks me if I have a bk1 o2 housing yet I have a bk2 what option do I pick
I am having the same issue, do I need to go and buy a bk1 o2 housing for my bk2 in order to install since you guys don’t supply an o2 housing? If so that is very inconvenient for bk2 owners. Please let me know if I need to buy additional parts such as a bk1 o2 housing.
@@ologyzyt3733 yes bk1 o2 housing or bk1 primary cat Only reason we don’t offer it is because many companies are discontinuing o2 housings due to regulations.
The auto transmission in the bk1 (2010-12) is unfortunately the worst transmission in the genesis coupe. It slips too much and eats up a lot of power. 400 whp is going to be nearly impossible keeping that transmission. Highest we’ve seen with that particular transmission was 330 whp.
@justinsilvia2925 it's a lot of work bro and honestly not worth it, since it has 3 more additional gear it will cause some confusion to the ECU. Your best bet is to go manuel swap but then again that's a pain in the ass because you will need manuel wire harness and ecu for that. It's not worth it bro
@@justinsilvia2925 oh snap that's so kool contrulations, make sure you change the line properly, use fresh washers and the side or else there will be an oil leak from the top feed line
For any type of power upgrade on high mileage cars, have the car looked over with compression test to make sure engine is healthy before doing modifications
