Enjoyed your video on the GO Irish Pub. I enjoy trying all the different recipes for Shepherd's Pie and Bangers n Mash dishes from different pubs. I liked the SP at Piper's Pub in Pittsburgh, and always stopped in at the James Joyce Pub in Inner Harbor/Baltimore. Too bad that the James Joyce Pub closed. That was a great stop before enjoying a concert at the old Pier Six just a few steps away! The First Post in York Pa makes a decent Bangers n Mash, but isn't a true Irish pub. Thanks for the information on Gary Owens. I will have to stop in next visit to G-burg!

I love the Irish Pub scene. I traveled to Ireland twice and both times we ate at an Irish Pub there called Dirty Nellie's. The food was great, the people really friendly, alot of singing amongst the restaurant customers with everyone clinking their beer glasses together at the bar. I love the Irish music. Your food choices looked so good, nice portions. I would have gotten the shepherds pie too, one of my favorites.

That seems like a great place to eat and tour the area !!

My favorite joint in gettysburg. My wife and I travel there from Pittsburgh. Multiple times a year. I had ancestors fight for the Union there. 29th, 69th, 83rd. Pennsylvania regiments.

Great video , guys. I enjoy your Gettysburg videos a lot. It’s a place that doesn’t get as thoroughly covered as other vacation spots. Pretty restaurant. The shepherds pie looked really good. I’ve never tried it but I know I’d like it. Anything with meat, potatoes and gravy. Yum. Keep up the good work.

Garryowen is a famous Irish song often associated with General Custer who fought at Gettysburg.

Our daughter and son-in-law eat there and get the exact things that you all got, but they always get the sticky toffee pudding. That monument is the Pennsylvania memorial. We watched a program commemorating the 150th year of the battle at the memorial. It is 110 feet tall and there is a staircase in one of the corners that takes you all the way up to the parapet near the roof.

Great video as usual.I like the look of this place,and they even have a UK red telephone booth.Scottish eggs are delicious. However, I love Sheppard pie too.Hope you both are blessed, and having a great time.

I absolutely ADORE bangers and mash, and yours are GLORIOUS, John! I want some right now! And Bobbie's Shepherd's Pie! Industrial strength YUMMY! (FYI: Traditionally, shepherd's pie is made with lamb; Bobbie had cottage pie.) Is that the Pennsylvania monument at the end? That is MASSIVE, and it is gorgeous!

Shepherds Pie looks amazing! I didn’t know that either about Bangers. That’s cool! 😎 There used to be a good Irish place in downtown Lancaster right off the square. I think it had Molly in the name. It might still be there.

Food looks lovely but it should be called cottage pie if it’s beef and shepherds pie if lamb just started watching your videos they are extremely good

ate there 3 times during our visit delish. that Guinness mousse is killer

Shame you weren't there for one of their "Sessions" here local musicians just show up and join in with whoever is already playing. It really puts an exclamation mark on your visit.

As a second generation American of Irish descent I love the bagpipes💚🤍🧡 now when made with beef it’s technically cottage pie at least in Tipperary-Shepherds is ground mutton (lamb). Personally I will take beef anytime and most Irish American pubs make it with beef.

Great video the food looked good. In England we have scotch eggs cold on salads love sausage and mash with onion gravy

Great video. Nice to see you trying different places. We have been there to eat a few times and I have to say the fish and chips are awesome. I got the smaller version and it was huge. Also don't try to get in there for dinner after 7 without reservations.. the place gets packed. Pa monument is unbelievable.. did you ever go up to the top? What a great view! We have a food suggestion.. Ernies Texas lunch.. 100 year old family business. Great breakfast and great Texas cheeseburgers. And lots of onions on them.. I know Bobbie loves her onions lol. Really enjoyed the video. We can't wait to go back in June. Oh BTW.. never go to The Pike restaurant.. not good!

These guys at this pub were mask nazis. They were so rude about it, They never talked to me directly, but this little old lady was walking from her table to the restroom and the bar tender yelled at her to "get her mask on"...like it's ok to not have a mask while sitting down, but then walking to the bathroom makes you a super spreader. I felt so bad for her, she was mortified just having a nice night out with her husband. How bout they respect their elders. I lived in Dublin for several years. That said, the Shepard's pie is right on point. They have an amazing selection of whiskey -both Irish and Scottish.

Hey there j&b Gary Owen Irish bar look really good that deep fried egg with sausage and bread crumbs I've had that before homemade but it's been a while guys when I get done with Gatlinburg and pigeon forge this week me and three buddies of mine we are loading up our Harleys and going to Daytona Beach Florida sometimes you just got to get away and leave the women and children at home

All the Scottish eggs I ever seen. The yoke is runny. But It all looked pretty good.

The Scotch Egg was over cooked. Shouldn't be that colour. The menu there is incorrect 'Shepherds Pie' contains Lamb not beef. (the clue is in the name). Cottage Pie has beef. Great video.

Scotch egg looks overcooked, not really breakfast food. We have them with a salad or picnic. Worst scotch eggs I've seen. Not going on my list for Gettysburg. Scotch eggs originated in England.
