I used to complain about how silly the movie nights intro is and how long it takes... but now I do my own stupid dance in my desk chair every time I hear it.
"Waiting to be the nudity" should be a recognized character archetype. It's slightly different from your plain old fanservice character in that there's even less of a reason for them to be in the movie.
FINALLY! I was always wondering what Phelous was referencing in GingerDead Man. Thanks for answering that question you guys had no idea I asked. Awesome video, butthorn.
Check out Eye of the Tiger. It's from 1986 and has Vietnam vet Gary Busey fight a gang led by the bad guy from the end of Cybernator. More action packed Busey combat!
I always love team-up reviews, but I particularly like yours Lupa. For some reason you play off other reviewers really well. I'm guessing you've already been told that though, hence this whole Movie Nights series. EDIT: I just noticed your triangle earrings! I love them.
Lizzy Chrome I think these three in particular are pretty good at letting others talk and building off what they say. A lot of reviewer crossover feel kind of competitive on who can get more analysis or jokes in. Allison makes them feel like a few friends having a discussion.
I love Matt's summary as the first part being Rainer Wolfcastle McBain and the second half as Christopher Walken McBain. Really does sum it up how it goes downhill.
Wow, Film Brain visited you guys? Cool! You should have invited Brad too for extra fun! And Thunderblast is actually the name of a Harley Quinn-like Decepticon female robot in Transformers Cybertron, so I find the name used for a tank oddly apt. :)
Wow, it's been a while since I thought about this movie. Literally all I remembered about it was the out of nowhere rape scene and Gary taking out his bullet. And honestly, I get his bullet removal mixed up with Charles Napier doing the same thing in Deep Space that same year.
I never heard of this movie before, and I never saw the "Butthorn" clip either. Also, Adam Sandler is comedy's worst nightmare, Butthorn! The VHS cover makes it look like Gary Busey is playing the DC Comics character Deadshot. I'll be sticking with Will Smith in Suicide Squad, thank you very much. 4:41- Yeat ANOTHER reason why Trump wants to build his goddamn wall, or as I like to call it, "Berlin Wall 2: The Quickening." 7:55- One man army, huh? Schwarzenegger from Commander, he is not. At least the rape scene isn't over 20 minutes long, ala "I Spit On Your Grave." Maybe they should have Brad Jones and company make a comedic version of it. ...Or not. 14:28- "Your soul is mine, Butthorn."
My favorite part is when Matt points out how the first half is Rainer Wolfcastle McBain and the second half is Christopher Walken McBain. McBain + McBain= McBain
So this movie had actor William Smith and just gave him a very small role? The split in this movie makes it look like one of those edited together TV shows that were used on MST3K.
Actually the name would be ironic if he never got shot. Getting shot multiple times and surviving does imply one has an above average resistant to bullets
I actually saw the Damon Wayens/Adam Sandler "Bulletproof." I couldn't sleep staying the night at a friend's house, and "Bulletproof" was one of the few VHS tapes he owned. Needless to say: even as a kid, I felt Wayens and Sandler's talents were being wasted...
I have to disagree his role as the bad guy in lethal weapon was far better then this movie just feel few parts just seem very goofy and just a one time watch for me also eye of the tiger far better.
