And just when you think that you can't get over "Still got the blues" ripping your soul apart, here comes the destroyer and awakener all in one, all over again...
Superb! Gary Moore had so much Fire and Passion in his playing! I was privileged to see him live in concert back in 1992 in Birmingham, UK and he was absolutely awesome!!
The Great Gary Moore. Really needs no words or top ten lists. Just listen to your heart and soul. Possibly the greatest at melding technical ability and pure feel. R.I.P. My Friend.
I think there are many out there who feel the same like us!!! When you will play this song on your guitar, Gary will feel good and be happy (from where he is) also!! God bless you Angel Diaz...
Yiannis Drosos Thank you for the kind words. One day ill make him proud and as well my parents before each ones times has come. One of my dreams is playing such a piece for them before its too late, again thank you for the kind words Yiannis Drosos
Same here its one of the most emotive songs ever recorded. I also get water in my eyes listening to this. If you know the history of this song. I was a huge Thin Lizzy Fan. And Phil Lynott wrote this with Gary. And sung on the original. And it was actually about the father Phil never knew. Thats why he says 49 in the lyric. Because that was the year Phil was born. And to know theyre both gone now. Miss them both. I saw both Thin Lizzy and Gary in concert several times.
Spectacular... almost 30 years later, my 13 year old son listens to it and admires it... One of our favorites! Greetings from Bogota Colombia. Espectacular...!
I never understood why such a brilliant performance never has the full-video-version?? why the solo is removed from the video??? IF any one has the full-video-version please share! (Royal Albert Hall 1992)
Best guitarist of all times. When you are the best some people get Jealous and hate you. how come this great guitarist did not make the top 100 guitarist of all time is something i cant believe. Well let me tell you for those out there ho are so bad evil and jealous GARY MOORE IS THE BEST BLUES ROCK GUITARIST OF ALL TIMES. GARY YOU ARE THE KING God bless your soul.
I was lucky to see him twice. I tell you when you are there and he holds that note it goes through your entire body and soul. You never ever forget that feeling.
Pour mon anniversaire ma cherie me l'as envoyé un morceau que j'aime jouer a la guitare en plus ,un Must ce morceau ,avec la tenue de note la plus longue de l'histoire
It's so amazing- this is Peter Green's guitar 🎸 played "Oh Well" and Green Manalishi". Here it is with Gary Moore playing it on Parisienne.......(!) Music ✨️ 🎶 history.
Those tossers at Rolling Stone need a slap. Gary should NEVER be out of the top 10 NEVER. You are always gonna have HENDRIX, CLAPTON AND PAGE TOP 3. Thats a given. But Gary played second fiddle to no one. He was incredible. That note he holds goes on for an eternity and rips at your emotions.
No hay palabras para describir lo mucho que me cautiva esta canción, cada nota que toca con su guitarra llora y sufre. Sin duda uno de los mejores Guitarristas que haya escuchado
