Das kann ich nur bestätigen. Ich bin damit aufgewachsen. Unbeschreiblich und soviel Gänsehaut gibt es nicht. Was wir damals hatten, gibt's nie wieder. Es war meine Jugend und Traumzeit. LG karin sus Dresden
Going to see a thin lizzy tribute band tomorrow night and I have never played them or seen them or a tribute band and I'm 47 so not old enough or lucky enough, but it's why I play , I may have a heart attack and die happily during the gig
RIP Phil Lynott (August 20, 1949 - January 4, 1986), aged 36 And RIP Gary Moore (April 4, 1952 - February 6, 2011), aged 58 You both will be remembered as legends.
@@larryantonioarena5039 they were not a big act in America…you want in the Hall of Fame….be a big act….King Crimson is not in the hall of fame…quit whining.
OK I lied, so the best version was the show in Budapest, I nearly started to cry when i heard this song LIVE at the very end of the show. 1 year before Gary passed away.
I grew up in Dublin & remember seeing Phil Lynott in town. He was unmistakable. Huge black Afro. Sprayed on jeans & An Afghan coat. Well it just couldn’t be anyone else. Gone way too young 😢😊
Just Fantastic! There is a Phil Lynott statue in Dublin, but sadly no statue of Gary in Belfast or his adopted home of Brighton & Hove. Surely there should be!! RIP Phil and Gary. ✝️
Tears are just poring down like a waterfall! I always cry when I hear the first guitar tune on this song. But these two together, om my, it was ten times more intense! Phil singing with that cool as fuck style of his and Gary is just amazing as ever. Two beautiful, brilliant young men doing what they do best!
@@georgebarnes8163 Phil was full blown Irish, he grew up there lived there that was his identity genetics isn't everything. Gary was born in Belfast NORTHERN IRELAND which is in the UK but NOT Great Britain. Two Irishmen.
@@reubster529 Phils father was an illegal immigrant to London from British Guiana, his mother was half Irish from London. Gary was full blown British from the UK, I went to school with him and can assure you he was not Irish in any way. The most basic search on the wonderful internet would have given you that information.
@@georgebarnes8163 George stop talking pipe. Moore was born in Ireland and his first child was named Saoirse, started his career in Dublin with Phil, whose mother and family is from Crumlin.
This sounds like two worlds colliding GORGEOUS i was around 10 years old when this came out and I played it full blast in my bedroom when my mum and dad were out.
My parents friends. I've heard so much about Phil and Gary from my mam and dad how can you not love their music? Just legends may they both rest in peace ❤❤
BRILLIANT, I saw Thin Lizzy LIVE in late 70s at Dalymount Park, Dublin, Ireland, and they were magnificent, absolutely one of the best gigs I was ever at. Rest Easy Gary and Philo, both badly missed. Thanx for all the Fab music and song.
I've never been to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Museum. But in my opinion, this should be playing on a screen there somewhere on a continuous loop. Incredible beyond words.
I was at Hammersmith when Phil cam on to play out in the fields and Parisienne Walkways will never forget the reaction or the atmosphere and sound both legends missed by many
Awsome Live version Gary Moore was a Awsome Guitarist and Phil Lyontt was a great bassist and Singer also A Brilliant Songwriter to And Gary Moore was brilliant Singer and songwriter. Rest in peace two Irish Legends.
This is Unmatched !!! Ever !! thank you for the upload ! Appreciation of their talents and what they gave us during their time... RIP, Phil, Gary, Brothers from Another Mother from the Emerald isle.
It's incredible they Quality of that audio, nowadays not Even with all this technology can get close to this awesome piece of art! What a feeling and technique of the Master Moore! 😍
Growing up in the 70's I wasn't into rock music, but having said that I liked Thin Lizzy and always admired Phil Lynott.. Phil was a charming dude, you couldn't help but like him
Same. Rock music was not my thing, much preferred Glam Rock, Punk, New Wave, Indie, stuff but Thin Lizzy were THE exception. Zeppelin, Sabbath, Priest, Purple, Ac/Dc for me all fitted perfectly under the umbrella of old, dull, boring, stagnant and something I definitely don't want to be associated with. Lizzy however, despite their musical genre, were somehow still cool and always will be!!
