In this series you want people to have some bias naturally but you also want people to be reasonable and have the ability to look at things objectively. This is borderline perfect for me as to what this series should be, respectful debates that can still become passionate, fun banter between the two, and an ability to recognise the other side’s achievements instead of just glorifying your own side. More segments like this with pundits, because this was a pure joy to watch as a football fan when you get all the banter and references., and these two played off each other very well while being extremely hilarious. P.S: Glad I'm not the only one who thinks James Ward Prowse is the most underrated player in the prem (and also the best FK taker in the prem imo) and this is coming from a Liverpool fan. Gary was spot on, yes, Ronaldo would have more goals than he has in United, but he wouldnt fit Pep's team, Pep wants hardworking players that can play in multiple positions, you cant expect them to change all that so Ronaldo can camp in the box and wait for the crosses. Also, for those saying Ronaldo has no service in United, he has missed 13 big chances this season (3rd in the league)

But Pep wouldn't just put Ronaldo upfront like Ole did or like Ralf does and expect him to sprint for 90 minutes at age 37, he will find a perfect position with a perfect strike partner in a better formation, are we forgetting that Pep had Phillip Lahm as a midfielder or that Fernandinho at the same age is still valuable for Pep who likes "hardworking" players??? He could have used Donny van de Beek as a false 9 next to Ronaldo or something if he was at united...at the end of the day, Ronaldo is fitting in the City team, he can still play as a inside forward, can play in the 2 upfront, can play as a second striker, can play the Thomas Muller role (raumdeuter position)...it all comes down to Pep's tactical flexibility, not what is already set and working

Other episodes usually have me picking a side and coming up with my own opinion regarding the matter. But not this one. This is one I thoroughly enjoyed without really being bothered by their opinions. Just two mates shooting the shit with each other! P.S. I swear if I had a dollar for every time I heard "Pogba on his day..." I could buy Chelsea from Abramovich
