Thank god he changed his mind. Somehow he keeps getting better and better, like he's aging in reverse. One of the best concerts of my life last Tuesday and his new album is incredible!
Loved seeing that Polaroid of Gary's famous white Corvette. Apparently the song "White Car" sung by Jon Anderson is about Numan bombing around London in that Vette.
It’s so interesting to see this footage, considering that in this video, he is roughly around the same age that his eldest kid Raven is now. A young 22 year old guy, with no idea of the future ahead of him, no idea how influential he would become. It’s fascinating to watch footage of famous people when they are young and first starting out, with no idea of what lays ahead for them.
@@frauleinmonait's an English expression meaning someone is not entirely with it. He is definitely not his usual self though, hence my comment. I know that at this early stage of his career he was feeling intensely the pressures of fame, maybe in this interview he was really feeling it.
No, not talking about Gemma, she was a school child in 1980. Its also pre Tracey Adam and Caroline Munro. I think it Carole Caplin, it looks like her and matches the time frame approximately of the Telekon tour. Though I would have said they dated from maybe Feb 1981 not as early as '80, but then Telekon didn't come out until September 80 and this is Gary touring it so it its about right. I think the tour got back to the UK in April which would match the time they apparently split - so I guess the arguing he speaks of was sadly not patched up.
