Gary Oldman brought the character to life, but what made Shen terrifying was truly the lighting whenever he was on screen in tandem with the way his character was written
He did a wonderful job as Shen. My favorite line. Po *on rooftop* Shen! A panda stands between *distance*............. Shen "Whaaat?" Po: Get ready for your serving of *distance*.............. Shen *confused* What? Po "screws up dramatic cene* Shen: OOookaaaay?
In my opinion THE actor of our time. In any movie he plays in, he lifts the level high up. His range is enormous and his humanity always shines through, even when he plays a villain.
Shen is so badass in the film, a beautfiully design peacock man i soo want to see the design of it. He is so unique and they did a good job creating him.
I'd have to agree with Oldman's remark @ 1:36- 1:40, Lord Shen is quite similar to many of the villains Oldman's played in the past (i.e. Zorg, Dracula, Ruber).
Ok I found this totally awkward at the end. He laughed and then he changed his facial expression like noticing that no one is laughing with him. xD Well.... I am laughing with you Gary :D xD
@RogueAgentify I noticed that, but: 1. It could just be his British accent making it sound that way. 2. We don't know when this interview was actually conducted, the villain may have been called "Lord Cheng" when the movie was in its earlier development stages.

Bluerainbow1002 If you read the Wiki you'll see that the original release date is in March but for some reason they pulled it backwards to January, but only for American theaters, it seems. So there's no delay at all, just different schedules for different countries. :o D-d-d-devian--*sneeze sneeze* I'm allergic to the fanbase. :'c He's most likely going to be mentioned but if he does appear...Idk what he'll be doing..I think Shen has suffered enough. :( I'll be happy to see him though, if he does come back in glory. 8DD
It's kind of funny that Lord Shen is basically the Animal/Animated version of Lord Voldemort in Harry Potter when it comes to ideology and determination as a villain, that he also so happens to have portrayed Sirus Black in it 💯
I don't know why, when he said "a nasty peacock" I thought of "a nasty pee-cock"... geez! I fell in love with Lord Shen. And I feel bad for that. Well... it's like falling in love with Gary so it's ok.............. -------confusion!
He seems kind of out of his element. He seems as though he doesn't know much about animation or hasn't been exposed to it as much, or doesn't have interest in it much to express his thoughts on it properly.
Sirius Black might be lost to Bella but Lord Shen would defeat and kill Bella pretty much easily , Bellatrix is not even a good villain IMO (She has no goal and also kinda annoying , She's just a neutral tier fictional character in term of quality not that good but also not that bad in overall but she's kinda lame compared to most other movie villains) but Lord Shen is one of a good villains.
