How many titles did MJ win before Phil Jackson came along , and put in the Triangle Offense ? Zero. Finals trips ? Zero. MJ is the best player I've ever seen, but not necessarily the so-called G.O.A.T. Folks generally liked/loved James until he went to Miami...dashing and shattering THEIR expectations of how his career should go. A bigger, stronger player who should play like Jordan. As if his NBA career began in 2010. He followed his own path, and bet on himself. Other than Kobe, no all-time great tried to be the second coming of anyone before them. MJ was more of a " do your part so I can win the game" player, than James, who has been more concerned about bringing a team along, making teammates contribute significantly, to make the team more competitive, Teammates, to James, were, just that...teammates. Jordan's teammates, Scottie Pippen included, were his "supporting cast". Coaching matters, too. All of Jordan's title teams were coached by 2 HoF coaches. James never had that. And, James did more with "slumbum" teams that MJ did. Jordan's first 7 years are very similar to James' 2 Cavalier stints. Until Jordan learned to trust and rely on his teammates, he wasn't getting out of the Eastern Conference Finals. James had the underwhelming Cavs in the Finals after his 5th season. He got more out of less than MJ did. Jordan was a great scorer...guaranteed buckets regardless of defensive pressure..., and a dominant defensive player who had to learn to trust his teammates. James was, and is ,more interested , and better at, empowering his teammates, and had to learn when to be more selfish. He was taught to include teammates when competing. Jordan had to learn, and, be reminded, to do that. It's how you like to see how the game is played. If I wanted to let a guy to do heroics to win, and be content having people look at me as riding his coattails, Jordan's that guy. If I want to win, and feel like I actually helped my team win, I'd pick James. He didn't win as much as MJ, but would be more satisfying to work with;he spread the wealth so that everybody felt they actually did some work in a game.

Exactly 💯.. Jordan didn't need to turn into a killer. He established very early in his career that he was a killer in the game against the Celtics. Even tho he lost, there was no denying that.
@thatboymike1732 You are correct, that's why he said LeBron is the better all around player. But there's an old lesson that maybe you've never learned. You can out work talent. Talent only takes you so far. Mentality takes you to the next level. Having a killer instinct when you're needed the most and delivering every time is more valuable than talent. This is why Jordan and Kobe is revered. Ask yourself this question. You own a business and you have two salesman.
