This Video Changed My Whole Perspective & I Learned Something New, I Haven’t Seen Anyone Dial Back The PSI/Flow On The AR/Comet. Great Demonstration! Great Video All Around Kyle 🔥
Hey Kyle, I like your content on the AR45! Great point on running at a lower psi. I think that is what is contributing to the issues people are having with the AR45. Great content by the way. Keep it coming!
Kyle, you're the coolest one of all the videos I watch. You bring great content and you're very honest about everything you know. Can I get ur opinion? Can too much sh harm vinyl siding?
Thanks for the video. Sounds like that’s the one to get. I’m a carpenter buy trade and having quality tools make the job go fast and smooth. I’m looking to get into washing and trying to figure out what setup to get. I’m ok spending the money on getting to right stuff. Do it once and be all set for whatever comes my way. Thanks again 👍👍
I've been using my 12v Remco pump for close to a year and recently have been noticing the limitations of it. I contemplated going with the bigger Fatboy but I think gas is the way to go. I appreciate you making this video. I feel like I was swayed going with the 12v and I'm slowly regretting it now.
love the channel. I'm from Australia and most of our roofs are concrete or terracotta tiled, does the same principle apply and can you still use SH on them type if roofs abd if so are you still looking between that 3-5% range. i went down the gas pump set up out of cost efficiency but am just running a 200lt tank and sucking it straight through the pump into a hose reel so we'll see how long this $250 pump lasts 😂 thanks for the info
Good to see new content from you! Always appreciated your transparency and how you break down the info. This was right on time for me. I’m up in New Jersey. Just added a 12v this season, BUT have been considering a P40 or AR45 to be more versatile. If you can answer this, what would you say is your reason for going with the AR45 over the P40?
A company here in FL is selling an AR 60 for $2350 should I jump on that deal? 15.6 gpm! Right now I have 5.5 gpm for my pw and a. 5.5 12 volt. Would be a huge upgrade. Loving this AR45 you have Kyle.
Hey Brotherman, I was curious about NOT using the 12/24 volt softwash system. From what I’ve seen from you, power softwash is the only way to go for speed. Being able to turn on and off the chemical remotely is priceless. I wonder if using a power 8 or 11 gpm utilizes the blend valves for chemical application strength? Thanks so much. I’m going to join your program after my first job. Equipment should be here in a week or so.
I took apart my red gun, and the internals are exactly the same as they are on blue gun. It’s all brass. The only stainless steel part on the red gun is external round part where water shoots out. I use AR30 gas system and I love it.
Excellent video. I'm really interested in getting into this type of business. I live right outside fayetteville. I was wondering if you ever allow someone to ride along with you for the day to learn some of your techniques. I'd pay you for your knowledge or even work with you for free just to get a idea on how this works.
I disagree, respectfully, that downstreaming is easier. I have a 5.5 12v (that i dont use anymore) & did that for 1 year. You're right about the 2 hoses being a pain. I see the appeal in down streaming. Especially if you have a 10gpm. However, i have Leon's manifold (modified) & the ability to press the buttom & rinse is so nice. Granted downstreaming is equality as easy by switching out the nozzles. The main arguments I'd make to try & win the debate are, even if you have a 10gpm, the ar45 is 2 more gpm. The 10gpm machine would also need 1/2 inch hose to get the full 10 if running 300 ft of hose (which is what i use on the AR.) Plus, your pressurewasher hose will last longer & no replacing downstream injectors as much. Lastly, no burst pressure. This is my opinion from someone that has used all 3 & has a semi successful business (currently booked out till the last week of may.) Oh, not to mention the ease of running hotter ratios. I, admittedly, never washed with a 10gpm machine so maybe I'd feel differently. We're working on apartments right now & it has me wanting the AR60. In fact, im going to get one. I dont think any argument could be made against the ar60 except maybe that it's too much. I saw someone mention Cody being upset by this video. Cody needs to get with the times. Gas roof pumps are the future. I watched a video of codey demonstrating his system. It was a big home & he had a helper. The helper had to pull out a step ladder to get the peak on the front. He was bragging at the end that you dont need gas roof pumps. That they cleaned that big home in just 1 hour! That would be impressive to an amateur but all i could thing was, "Cody, I'd get that done in an hour too. By myself. Without the need for a step ladder with my AR45." Idk why he hates gas roof pumps so much. Maybe he has a contract with northern tools. But, he needs to get over it or get left behind imo.
What kind of proportioner should i use and will this run longer than 12v? Im sick of replacing them all the time and even they are rated for bleech and i rinse they also fail.
Can this gas roof pump as well as the P40 pull straight out of the IBC tote ? Using 12V currently .. But leaning towards this or the P40 .. Cheers Dude from 🇨🇦
Appreciate the video as always! You are getting FAR better flow than I have been able to get on my pump without pushing towards the 250 mark. Recent test was 7gpm at 200psi. Any ideas on where I might be losing the volume? GX200 AR45 out of North GA Airless. 5/8” inlet and 1/2” ag outlet to 400’ of 1/2” hose on the Titan reel.
Good video on the gas softwash pump. Looks like you get some good distance and volume. I tempted to get one. But not 100 percent sold on is it that much better than a 12 volt 7 GPM system. I know the volume is more by a few gallons which is nice but does it really justify the price. I run a 12volt Delavan 100psi 7 GPM pump. I can hit 3 stories no problem. Key is tight clamps and no leaks. I made my own blending manifold and spray wand. Plus I have a nice spray gun like yours. This system has served me well over the last 4 yrs. Prior to that 16 yrs of gas PW down streaming old school I guess lol. Again very good video. 👍
@@rabbitskinner A residential home 3 story is usually 30-35 ft to the peak. I hit that all day long. A lot of bigger homes I do are basement, plus two stories. Typically the back of the house that has a daylight basement then looking up at two stories. Most homes have 8 ft tall each floor/ story plus a peak so in most cases that can be 24 ft plus a 8-10 ft peak. Now a commercial 3 story building absolutely not. Each story/floor on a commercial building is typically 14 ft. No way I can hit 42 ft.
@@rabbitskinner what kind of distance can you get out of a 24v and what is the GPM on those? My customers love the quiet 12v and I have thought about going to a 24v for more distance and volume. Thanks
@@VancesPressureWashing Soft washing with a pressure washer..only thing that limits ya a bit is the injector compared to sucking straight out of the SH tank for a hotter sauce.
Use a comet p36/ honda roof pump, 2 years straight everyday, no issue, no leaks. I take them over constantly changing 12v. Also use honda on all my washers with Hondas, 3 hotsy hot water, 2 northstar hot water, and one vanguard hotsy, only non honda
Yep I been washing about 6yrs now and I love the gas system, still have a 12v also, I tried the 10gpm by northern tool and the pressure switch keep breaking.
Kyle was is the coupling size from the Ar45? I got my red Ar45 and its a 1/2 BSP F but ai dont know what to convert to insert into a 5/8 water hose. I am new and still learning the couplings.
hey mate, i have the AR 30 & Honda gx200 motor, but i cant get any more than 20feet with it, it seems to vaporize the water instead of shooting it a good distance, ive been thinking about drilling my hole a tiny bit bigger, what size tips do i need to have in my JRod, please, thanks for your time and help
Gullivers Travels and the dolls house... More volume means you can rinse any problem areas quicker, work faster in the sun = peace of mind !... It is no brainer . more volume means better , better , better everything in MOST situations. Some people use a pump up sprayer to apply their mixm which is all good when starting out or doing now and then jobs. But .... i know what i would rather use.
I feel there's really 2 levels of applicator pumps. Standard and elite. Standards would be your 12v, 1/2" aodd, 3/4 hp booster typically running about 4-6 gpm, better at mere application. Elites would be perhaps 24v, 3 hp booster, gas, and 1" air with 30+ cfm. Different benefits and use cases for each
Hey what is your preferred method to wash tall houses that you can’t get with your pumps from ground level? You downstream? Would the soft wash pump have enough strength to push water up a roof once you climbed?
@@softwashtv6315 right! I guess what i meant is some roofs have some angles that you can’t get from the ground and in the event that you have to get up does your soft wash pump have enough strength to push water up to a second floor?
Kyle… I tried to subscribe to you subscription training at $49/month… I don’t have a credit card, but I went to the local store and purchased a credit card in order to cover the monthly subscription fee and it declined even though I have enough funds on this card. Is there a way I can pay you separately than your automatic system here? It might be because it’s a pay as you go take credit cards… But I’m not sure.
@@softwashtv6315 thanks for replying, I just want to let you know your videos got me into this business man, you’ve been one of the best guides on here. Your very professional and detail oriented 👍. I’m now taking it to the next level and building a 5x8 soft wash system on it with the ar45 or p40 haven’t decided yet, with that red gun lol. Thank a lot man you’re a real one 👍
