Something fishy about that first pull. Ol boy on the sled slowed down the weight and allowed him more distance. None of the other badass trucks could even get close to 300 feet.....much 313
Run what you brung. Ha ha ha ha oh ok. That apparently has changed a whole lot over the years. Diesels are awesome but nothing sounds better than a highly tuned V8.
nah...he had the best pull because he knows how to drive the best...notice some of the other drivers, one dodge in particular was all over the track...you want to ease into the power, keep it straight as possible and dont just pound the throttle like most guys do after it gets rolling and that things making more than 2000 horse power
Can you imagine the diesel stench, the toxic smoke that smells like someone set fire to a tire filled with turpentine and wet goat hair. Plus, no matter what you do to a diesel it will never sound cool. And what the hell is that whistling sound!
If you are referring to anything 1 ton and under than this comment didn’t age well lol. Obviously I’m a diesel fan but honestly big block gas engines are the way to go now. It only makes sense, cheaper to build, cheaper to buy, cheaper to feed, cheaper to maintain, all with relatively the same performance. That 7.3 ford gas engine is an absolute beast btw, know first hand. If you were referring to semi’s… well that was just a dumb reference haha.
ItchyTriggerFinger 76 the cummins motor is reliable but the power stroke motor is also reliable depending on which motor. Deep down I know the best cummins is probably slightly better than the best power stroke
