Dumb question can I use cooper anti seize on the valve steam for lubricantion on old valves ? I work at a oil refinery I’ve used it before and it helps on valves that are hard to spin

I’ve done a lot of valves and never has backseating worked idk what I’m doing wrong. Or shitty junked up valves

Backseating has never worked for me the past 10 years

If I have the valve completely open and I'm still getting leaking does that mean theres something else wrong besides the packing?

So you can do this while valve is live?
