That was a beautiful video. I just hate that everybody lost their power. Stay warm and I’m glad you’re feeling much better. I did not know you had been sick. Thanks for getting out in the snow and showing us around. It really is beautiful there. God bless you all and be safe.
Great video footage! Thanks for bringing us along for the drive. This was a whopper of a snow storm and so fun to be out in. In our neck of the woods here in Tennessee, they only expected 1-2 inches but we had half a foot of snow. You guys be safe and enjoy the snow!
I was there a little over a week ago with really warm weather. Crazy how it changes in just a week. I have reservations for late February. Will be watching the weather before we head out. Hope they get your power back on very soon!
My family got stuck in a chalet up Laruel Lick Rd. Gas fireplace but relied on a blower to circulate heat. Well water relied on a pump. No power with 10 people for 3 nights. It was freaking cold in that place but we made the most of it. Thankfully the chalet place got us another one WITH power and it was a wonderful upgrade. In fact, we stayed there again (the 2nd one) this year and loved it. Good times ... memories indeed. GBO !!
Absolutely beautiful, thanks for taking us on the ride. Be careful out there! We are enjoying our snow too! We had about 7 inches here in coastal Delaware.
Beautiful scenes and the music perfect ……..thank you for making the vlog so your fans can see another side of the Smokies…..winter time! Be safe and warm…..a fan from Florida!
Beautiful scenery along with lovely music…very creative. Thank you for showing us another side of the Smokey Mountains….a snowy winter beauty. So lovely and very enjoyable ….thank you. Stay safe and warm from this Florida Fan of yours.
Been there since December 28. Stayed in Gatlinburg for the New Year celebration. Got caught in the snow yesterday so had to extend our visit to the area. On my way home to Charleston SC now as I'm writing this. Beautiful event! Sorry for the folks further up the mountain that lost power and couldn't get transportation down. Huge shout out to the Gatlinburg Mountain Inn for taking care of us during our trip!! Be safe and we'll be back Easter!!
So happy your channel showed up in my RU-vid feed. I enjoyed this so much as love Gatlingburg and Pigeon Forge! One of our favourite stops going south from Canada and returning home and traveling through The Smoky Mountains was always great to spend a few days at Gatlingburg and also a few days at the Apple Valley Inn in Sevierville. Your video was done so well and your pictures beautiful. Sorry for the lost of power. You are a great 'tour' guide! Excited to check out your other videos! God bless!
Another great video Eric. I’ve never seen so much snow in Gatlinburg and I’m sure the businesses are happy that didn’t happen over the Christmas and New Year’s break. Hope y’all get your power restored soon!
WOW! a lot of snow in such a short time period, hopefully they get your power on soon. so pretty but its a shame to lose so many trees , not to mention the loss of power for everyone, thanks for sharing
I was there, arrived on Sunday and Monday morning woke up to that! Stayed all week and it snowed and iced up on Friday. Never lost power but many did around us. Nice video.
Stay safe, friends. We here in north Jersey see this kind of weather but currently south Jersey is getting slammed 8-10 inches down by the shore. What an absolutely beautiful scene! But please stay safe and hope your power is back in soon. Sending prayers from up here ❤️🙏🏻
You guys are probably more accustomed to this tire weather than this area lol. Thank you so much for the well wishing and thanks for watching! Stay safe up there as well!
Such beautiful snow covered scenery. Hate that you and others lost power. Hopefully they the downed trees cleared quickly and power restored. Thanks for sharing! Stay safe and stay warm.
Sandy it has been so cool all the locals have been taking care of the trees so hopefully this will help out the power guys. Thanks so much for watching
So beautiful. We left yesterday to get back to KY. Got home last night and snow started. Ours was mostly gone by noon. Looks like we left on the right day. Hope you have your power back. Great video as usual. That Mountain View!!!
Thank you so much you do not know how much to be up there in snow you gave me so much enjoyment I cannot tell you enough thank you that is my favorite place on this Earth
Oh my thats so beautiful! So sorry to hear the electric is out. Your in my prayers, in eastern ky in the mountains so its coming my way. Thank you for the wonderful video Nice of you to share. May God bless everyone
Being a native of East Tennessee I had to check your video out when I seen it on my recommended watch list and it was a great video so I made sure to leave a like, but when I seen that Raiders gear u had on I had to give my support and subscribe to the channel
Thanks for sharing, Eric. Hope you got your power back or found a hotel with power. We got no snow and lost power for about 10 minutes. Winds were crazy here as well. Stay safe.
We were there from Dec 23-30th, 2021 trying to see our first snowfall since my baby was born 6 yrs ago. He’s never seen snowfall. We are from Florida and nothin. We came home with covid from all the people out hiking DOWN instead without caring for others going UP! Well the video is beautiful though thanks!
Sorry you missed the snow and became ill. Hope you all feel better soon. We taught our girls the rules of the trail right off the rip. Thanks for watching!
Hope your power is back on soon. I enjoyed seeing the snow-covered scenery around the Smoky mountain area. We got about 8 inches here in the mountains of the southeast area of West Virginia. Our elevation is 2,800 feet The snow came down within a few hours. This is our first snowfall for the season which is rather late for us. They are looking at maybe another snowstorm for us Thursday and Friday. It's now down to 24. There is a concern for black ice overnight and in the morning.
Eric, enjoyed your video! Hope and pray y'all and everyone else gets power back soon. Absolutely beautiful scenery there! You can send that snow towards Oklahoma. Stay safe and warm Smoky Mountain Family! Love y'all!❤️🙏🙏🙏❤️🙏❤️🙏🙏🙏❤️
The night before, I was on the back deck wearing shorts. Woke up and had to shovel snow for 3 hours to get off the mountain. Was very beautiful though.
Wow Eric looks very Dangerous going up the mountain no room for any other car You Are The Man the views were just Breath taking Great job be safe brother and keep tubing
Beautiful ride. It brings back memories. I was there in the late 1980s in April when there was also 8 inch of snow. I was leaving for Ashville so had to drive through the park. The snow accumulated on the road. There was a large motorcycle gathering that weekend. I saw a couple of motorcycles trying to navigate through the park. I doubt they enjoyed the beauty.
Wow! That's quite a bit of snow! It's pretty to look at, but not so pretty when you have to drive in it. My favorite thing about Winter is when it is over! Lol! So sorry to hear about all the people without power. Stay warm and be safe!
We actually love the snow, even though we lost power, so we are alright with it! I can understand not boring to fond of it though. Thanks as always Tawna!
@@SmokyMountainFamily absolutely loved it. I say all the time I want to move there. And while I would love that, home is Alabama. And I know if I lived there I would stay so incredibly home sick... but who knows? 1 day I may do just that.
Loved your videos showing the snow that y’all got in that region, we don’t get much snow down in south Louisiana but it is a wonderful sight to see. I love how you venture out into the park, the areas are just beautiful. I would like to see more of nature when we go there but we really don’t know the good places. We never really venture out cause we don’t know the backroads too well so we usually stay either along the strip or we travel Teasters a lot.
We noticed they were having that at the convention center here. The main roads were cleared first so they probably did not have much trouble. Thanks so much for watching!
Great video we also got snow but not what y'all got ,we only got 2.5" I hope y'all get your power on soon I have had my power off for days before and liked to have frozen to death but I bought a Mr heater if it goes out again , plus we had powerful winds last night and lots of trees down also , Be safe out there and thanks for showing us the snow, God Bless.
