He’s gonna be a .290+ hitter with the shift ban, plus he has elite speed. He’s been doing nothing but working out and rehabbing since injury and constantly would show up to dodgers games and watch them from the dugout with the other players. Dodgers need to keep him at all costs.
Super fired up on the return of Lux he literally is one the best 9 hitters in the game and always rolled over the top of the line up. As a Dodger fan this season is gonna be sooo good!!
I hear this a lot from players who stand with Shohei for the first time and say how big he is, even compared with what they see on TV or at a distance on the field. They all seem to be a little shocked by how big he is. Maybe some of that is psychological, when you get up close with a guy who's that transcendent a figure and athlete. But I've thought for some time that his listed stats are out of date. He's been listed as 6'4" and 210 for years, when I know he's bigger than that now. Probably close to 6'5" and 220 plus.
@@surfwriter8461 2021article in the ringer. given his incredible success since then, can't see any reason why he'd go back down. and visibly he looks the same since then
You’re telling me. Ohtani has been going in and out of dodger stadium and what not. And NOT one single picture or sighting of the guy? I mean it’s great. Don’t want to bother him but man
He's like a Ninja, stealthy but deadly when he's in the vicinity. The guy is grinding in the weight room while others are lollygagging on the internet.
The money is going to be made back and a lot more. So, Ohtani deserves the salary he gets. The Dodgers will also be able to continue in the recruiting department for years!!! If there ever was a win win situation this is it! Biggest signing in Los Angeles sports history!!!
Holy Canoli, He has such a deep voice I figured for a younger player, He'd have like a younger sounding voice but dude sounds like hes been around for a long time.
I've actually never heard Gavin Lux's voice before and wow this dude sounds like a superhero or something lol. Will say though he looks like those dudes that stand outside gas stations trying to sell you cigarettes here
LA’s shortstop depth is thin. They’re not trading him, his a high avg hitter, solid defense which he is improving, and young and controllable. Rojas is his backup and is a defensive replacement veteran, not an everyday player. Unless they trade for Adames which I doubt they will, Lux is here to stay. He is hungry to get back out there
Lux’s character has made him one of my favorite players period. It’s been tough for him and he hasn’t allowed it to effect him at all. Mental clarity is key- he’s got it.
Thank fod, all my prayers this year since spring training paid off when he said no setbacks. Gavin worked his fucking ass off this year to come back to his baseball family and I'm here for it, let's fucking go
