Actually, nowhere in the Bible does it say Priests should be celibate. All the Jewish priests were married and of the Levi Tribe. This is just a silly rule the early Church created. Also, Bible scholars (which sure aren't commenting here) have shown that the anti-gay remarks in the Bible were all directed at temple prostitution, where you could go to a temple and pay to have sex with a male, if you were a male. This allowed you to achieve some sort of bizarre oneness with the pagan god, since they also believed that the Priest became the god in the ritual just like the Eucharist Priest becomes Jesus. There was no such thing as a gay sexual orientation then in the Biblical mind. They could not conceive of it. They were talking about men who have sex with men in the temple of BAAL.
