Your theory aligns with what I also thought, especially after the Israeli Destruction Forces' murderous "rescue mission", where they explained that they attacked another area a few days before in an attempt to lure the resistance away from the area where they were going to go into. The official IDF website says 4000+ IDF casualties overall, but just the 162nd division out of 4+ divisions reports over 4000 casualties to Israeli media, and that's not counting the northern front.

22:01 'Soldiers are increasingly distrustful of their commanders'. It's almost like maybe telling them it was a good idea in an urban combat zone to stick their heads out the window like bloody golden retrievers on a road trip wasn't the morale-building exercise it was cracked up to be.

The term has no moral cachet as far as I'm concerned, but it does imply that one is a member of an organised military force trained to fight against other people likewise trained. The IDF fail on all counts. As we know from their joint exercises with Germany a few years back, nobody even trains them in defence because they don't need it in order to terrorise Palestinian villages. They clearly have not been trained in the rudiments of how to survive in situations where other people are shooting at you (because it's not their primary use case, clearly), and they have all the discipline of the Chelsea Headhunters after a three-week bender.

The peace after will horrible in Europe all the soul searching will find nothing debt .

I think the prisoner releases were precipitated by a recent Israeli High Court ruling concerning Gazan captives being held in secret detention by the IDF. The Israeli prison service has to make room for these captives now as they have to be transferred and processed into the official prison system due to the ruling.

We ask about israeli prison capacity, but knowing how easy it is to simply overcrowd people in the same facilities, I kinda wonder: maybe they are having difficulties maintaining appropriate staffing levels at their prisons? Fascistic as israeli society is, I don't think many people would like to work as a prison guard in overcrowded prisons, in the full knowledge that if a prison revolt breaks out, they will die. I also think it's quite likely that their prison staffing is having extreme levels of turnover, just on account of sick leave (because overcrowded prisons breed illness), and because of the toll of spending days in a place where you can't stop hearing the Screams of tortured prisoners. Kinda reminds me of Fanon's reports of french guards in torture prisons in Algeria and the kinds of mental illnesses they developed. To the point about staffing levels, the pitfall of turning your regular prison system to a torture prison system is that prisons depend on the prisoner's cooperation, which in turn rests on the prisoner's belief that they will eventually leave, and on the conditions of the prison being above a certain threshold.

The only way I can think of explaining the insane behavior of the US and israel, i.e. having only the hammer as a tool and seeing every problem as a nail is this: "Whom the gods would destroy, they first make mad."

When hearing Israeli reporting I ask (and often research) "who is the intended audience?" Recent narrative it looks like a lot of reporting in English coming from the Israeli regime is intended for western ears to create sympathies and western leaders to send more money, munitions and equipment. Much appreciation for the info and insights you bring in these sit reps.

Watching Israeli Society tear itself apart fills me with revolutionary optimism. The Zionists have completely failed to achieve their military and political goals. They haven't defeated Hamas or the Resistance(nor will they). They haven't gotten back most of their P.O.W.s and hostages(they in fact killed at least dozens of them). The Haredi being drafted, and their resistance that is following. As some want the hostages back, others argue that they must be sacrificed for the Zionist State. The young Jewish Diaspora outside of occupied Palestine I suspect are going to be increasingly uninterested in moving there. Thousands of Kibbutzniks fleeing out of Ben Gurion Airport and refusing to return to the north, or the "Gaza Envelope". The economy in tatters, which will only get worse with BDS. Their new international status as a pariah state. The bloated, overstretched US Empire, which won't be able to protect them forever, etc. etc. etc. When Al Aqsa Flood began, I thought perhaps this could be a path to a Palestinian State but now, I can't imagine how the Zionist Entity can survive this. It might take some time and disgustingly, more atrocities but, the Zionists are losing on all sides. Now they want to attack Hizbollah? I hope that the Axis of Resistance is thinking of how to secure those nukes because, as the Zionist experiment comes crashing down on top of them, I suspect that they'd destroy all of Al Sham(the Levant) rather than going out quietly.
