chelsea fan here but my dad swears hes never seen a better english footballer than gazza. the finest, natural talented player ever - saw his footages on youtube and he was truly a wonderful player. Icon indeed - hope everything goes well for him . Legend indeed
@RAVEN AK47 some might say moore, some might say Jimmy greaves, some might say keegan, charlton, Matthews, Gerrard, lamps etc each with their own reasoning but player as an individual comparison (so no talk of stats, honor, etc) just on his footballing abilities- We think gazza. You can only decide of your time of course and this debate will go on. By the looks of it, gazza certainly had even more potential in the time where sport was rough and brutal.
Mr Patraeus horrible, stereotypical world YOU live in you mean!!! People from all walks of life can’t beat the battle or addition of booze. Educate yourself!
I'm a Liverpool fan but Paul Gascoigne was one of the True greats of Football Genius, character, a sharp eye, could see 4 passes ahead of everyone else broke the mold when they made him Truly gifted talented player "Go on Gazza" 😁😁😁😁
Pity gazza injured himself warming up. Would have loved to have seen some of his magical touches. Saw him in his prime against my beloved hammers Upton park 1988.1989. He was superb. We could now get the ball off him his upper body strength unbelievable. hope he is in a better place. Lovely new stadium very envious. ⚒⚒
@@eiresaoirse3258 You mean you shouldnt look up to Paul Gasgoine - footabll legend? Or do you mean his private life? im not sure. Or do you attack someone for alcohol or mental health problems and disgreard their career? Would you clarify your point?
He probly stretched it but theres no way he ruptured it.he wouldent be able to walk if he tore it...he tore it b4 so id say it was tight specially doin fuck all for years....
I hope we don't get anymore headlines in a month or two coz he's been on a mad bender...I'll bet there's plenty of people still out there offering him drinks.
Forest fan here, didn't you nearly cut Garry Parker in half...then nearly finished Gary Charles career... Despite all that good luck Gazza,a wayward genius.
Probably do more harm to him than good. How do you ever get over not experiencing that ever weekend. Bad enough getting too old to play Sunday league. Hope he stays on wagon, true legend
In footballing terms Gazza had the lot! However, he was badly managed, badly advised & kept poor company. On the day of his transfer to Roma he arrived in Rome & belched in a TV journalists microphone....I knew then that he was going to have a very short career!
How is that going to inspire kids to do the same. I doubt many look at drunk gazza and think "I wanna be like that when I grow up" . If anything he's an inspiration not to drink
