GBO2 GM Nightseeker (V): The best stealth raid?!

This video contains two matches I had with the recently buffed LV3 and LV1 GM Night Seeker (V). It is a 500-600 cost raid with a high power long rifle primary, a heavy staggering sea serpent whip, a long reaching rifle spear, overall great mobility, access to LV1 Stealth along with great all round melee damage. Its weaknesses would be having only 7 melee resistance across all levels, having only medium melee priority, needing to stop to fire/charge the fedayeen rifle along with in general needing to rely on raw melee to win head on fights. This suit was recently buffed with +5 thrust, 2000 base power on the beam daggers and sea serpent with +200 power per level, 2.5 seconds cooldown time on the beam daggers, 180% downswing modifier on the fedayeen rifle spear, 1 second cooldown time on the fedayeen rifle, 10 seconds overheat time on the rifle, per level scaling on the rifle buffed to +300 along with getting its Assault Booster skill upgraded. This improves the previously somewhat wimpy melee damage into being some of the best at 500 cost. The rifle buffs also makes it much more effective at counter-sniping supports, which it was already pretty good at. I hope that you enjoy watching!
Its primary weapon at LV2 is a fedayeen rifle with 2400 (2800) power, 50% (85%) heat, 1 second cooldown, 10 seconds overheat, 0.5 seconds swap time, 460m (560m) range, 1 seconds focus time and 50% (80%) stagger value. This stops to fire and does not instant stagger without charging, but it has really high power. You can use this to harass supports from a distance or to break their legs.
Its primary melee weapon at LV2 is a beam saber with 1995 power, 2.5 seconds cooldown, 0.77 seconds swap time and 60%/34% combo modifier. This has awful damage, basically no redeeming qualities other than for stunlocking in combination with your beam daggers.
Its first sub weapon is a sea serpent with 2200 power, 6 seconds cooldown, 0.5 seconds swap time and 100m range. This has good damage and can heavy stagger the enemy, making it an excellent combo tool.
Its second sub weapon is a pair of beam daggers with 2200 power, 2.5 seconds cooldown time, 0.5 seconds swap time, 100% side swing modifier and 80%/64% combo modifier. This has somewhat below average base power but has excellent modifiers, making it capable of high damage in combos.
Its third sub weapon is a fedayeen rifle spear with 2500 power, 4 seconds cooldown, 0.77 seconds swap time, 85% side swing modifier and 180% downswing modifier. This has long reach and incredible burst damage with the downswing, so it can serve as a way to initiate fights with or as a mid-combo damage tool.
The LV2 GM NSV has 17500 HP, 29 ballistic resist, 24 beam resist and 7 melee resist. It has ridiculously low melee resistance for a melee focused raid, but it isn't that fragile in other areas. You can't afford to make a mistake in close range since melee focused generals can often one combo you if you slip up. It has LV2 Maneuver Armor and LV1 Emergency Evasion as is standard.
It also has 130 (133 including ground affinity) walking speed, 215 boosting speed, 65 thrust and 69 (75 including affinity) turning speed. It is pretty nimble and nice to handle, having no real weakness in terms of mobility. It has LV2 Forced Injectors as usual, but LV3 Flight Control means you use -50% thrust when boosting in mid-air. This makes attacking enemies from above really easy.
Overall I feel like the Nightseeker V has became one of the better raids for 500-550 cost, maybe even still being a strong choice in 600 cost. It bypasses the big issue facing most raids at 500 cost, that being that you must get close to take out the support. Nightseeker V can simply hang back and wait for a good chance to shoot three shots into the legs of the support, leaving most of them with broken legs. The buffs to the melee damage also means that you are rewarded much better than before for closing the distance, its melee damage is actually among the best of the 500 cost raids now, only getting better at 550-600 cost thanks to the great level up scaling. The buffs have everything that I could have asked for, I would say though that the buffs to the fedayeen rifle prototype primary were rather excessive. Really the only thing wrong with this suit is the lack of instant stagger without stopping to charge, alongside the very low melee resistance. I can highly recommend this suit for players used to ambushing with the stealth skill, as well as those adept with using long reaching melee weapons to initiate fights with. Thanks for watching, and I hope that you enjoyed it!

I've always had fun with this MS. Ive always used the GM 2 rifle tho. But since the Marasai got a buff along with its fedayeen rifle, I'll try running that rifle. Just wish you didn't have to stop to shoot it tho.

The fedayeen rifle is kinda weird cause you go from being able to insta stun without stopping to needing to stop and shoot. It helps if you get used to the length of the spear neutral though, since you can attack them from just outside tackle range. This is even easier if you flank from stealth.

So did all the veterans come to Steam? The people there seem to be ten times harder to fight than the ones you are going against and that was at D ranks etc. I have been using the V for a couple weeks now and doing REALLY well with it, but I did swap out for the GM III rifle. Starting to think that was a mistake, but I didn't like the firing style of the Feyadeen proto.

The point of Using the Feedayen Rifle is the access to Beam spear. This give you another High Output Meele Weapon besides your Beam Dagger since the Beam Saber is quite mid. This is quite difficult since now you only have Sea Serpent (Heat Rod) as your stun tool. For the most part, every NS V player Will flank and utilize Its Stealth ability so the Beam Rifle being stop to fire its not a big deal

I didn't know that rifle had a buff, its not a charge only weapon any more?😅 It pierces as well????
@dubborino979

It's always performed like this but yeah it pierces when charged. Takes like 2-3 shots to stun uncharged and overheating isn't actually an issue because the rest of your arsenal can pick up the slack and overheat time is relatively low.
