These are really good. Played gbo2 for years but took a year away since I was burnt out grinding for tokens. I knew pretty much everything but specifics like 5:02 would have saved me some rage and blaming lag lol. You guys helped me get back to my old skill level, thanks!
For two melee Weapon combos its sometimes ideal to start with secondary melee Weapons that do more dmg with thier downswings then primary downswings such as like byarlant isolde, atlas gundam and etc. Also good video
As long as the downswing and the weapon ready-up time is fast enough, definitely a good choice. Geara Doga is another one with a secondary that deals more damage than the primary melee.
My take on playing support suits: -Always take suits with high mobility over firepower. -Always watch the radar, and hope the opponents don't deploy stealth suits. -Put on as many thruster parts as allowed and learn to counter melee. -just use long range general suits.
For support suits, I agree that mobility and thrust is pretty helpful since you'll be able to quickly reposition and stay near your generals for protection against the enemy raid. Another big thing for support suits is having excellent build stun weapons or heavy stagger weapons. Those weapons can break manuever armor and let them defend themselves against raids that are boosting towards you. I can't count the number of times I've relied on my Full Armor 7th Gundam's mobility along with build stun weapons to escape a raid or even stagger and downswing the raid before running back to my team. For generals, long range suits could affect your team's frontline (depending on the team comp) so I wouldn't necessarily recommend always using long range generals.

I make a post on the subreddit when each video comes out but it often gets buried lol. GBO2 would be a lot more fun if everyone played in a more team oriented manner!
For specific loadouts, it would be tricky to talk through with the hundreds of suits and all the minor variations you could do. We typically follow the general guidelines from our Beginner Guide about building for HP or Resist based on Cost along with some Thrust if you're Raid or Support. For team tactics, we could make a clan tips video in the future so we'll put it on our list. At the moment, we're making a video on basic -> intermediate space tips since we love space more than ground and want to help everyone experience the joys of space battles!
While I get leg damage, I just despise the need to break legs as a general or raid that often perfers to assist allies in fights. Being cut off from being able to help just sucks and honestly burns me out from doing more matches. Why? I'm just someone who likes simple or funny gimmick/meme potential and see how well I can take it to. For example, Gouf's Heat Rod with downswing with big damage, but holy f it is buggy/gimmicky as hitbox goes away if the whip hits any ground or wall. As for simplicity, it would be Gundam or any mobile suit with up to 6 options, any more then I cannot bring the full potential of the mobile suit I am piloting if being harrassed by the enemy team because I am bad at pressing buttons at the same time usually... At lower ranks, I was using mainly GM/Zaku Cannons, but now it is much harder to find said opportunities to play those mobile suits with new addition of mobile suits on top of the existing stealth/melee suits that can and will try to hunt a support down, even if it is a general type doing said hunt. The highest I got with memeing? A/A+, but the game is just wanting to give me teammates that were nearby me to just don't stick together. Don't get me wrong, I to would accidentally go too far but often to escape the battle with low health and recover in order (or die and respawn) to get back in to help.
Just like you said, it sucks if your legs are broken and you're not able to help teammates. Even though we made a video on combos and leg busting, these long combos should only be done if there aren't any teammates nearby in need of saving. Since GBO2 is a team game, Spiker and I recommend staggering, downswinging, and moving onto the next target to continually assist allies and keep them alive. Plus, if you deal damage equal to at least 25% of the enemy's health, you'll get assist points for your team when the enemy is destroyed!
Zeta is a very flexible suit that can do several of the combos in the video. 1) With two melees, you can do the triple downswing combo. Stagger into beam saber downswing -> bayonet downswing -> beam saber downswing. 2) With Mobile Armor/transformed mode, you can also do some of the Rezel flight combos 3) It has great build stun with the arm grenades. Each arm grenade does 50% build stun so you can stagger with that into a downswing or beam rifle and then downswing.
I'm not fully understanding the eligibility system for matches, specifically with gouf custom i can seem to find a map that allows me to sortie in it, i just started playing like a week ago on ps5
If you're doing a rated match, you'll have to use a suit that is either the same cost as the match or 50 cost under. For example, if it's a 400 Basic Match, you can only bring 400 or 350 cost mobile suits. For quick match, you can only bring the same or 100 cost under.
The game deals with latency in a logical....yet questionable way. Our next video will actually showcase some instances of that like why you can dodge roll but die.
